Hey Guys,

I am new here and in the middle of building my first arcade cab.

I am at a stage where i am picking my software as the project is just about complete,

it is the restoration of a original arcade machine, its complete with 2 joys 6 buttons each running ipac2.

I am about to buy myself a license but before i do i cant seem to find a list of supported emulators anywhere, all i could find is it supports most.

And thats all good and well but i would rather know what it supports, can someone point me in the right direction?

I have been using mamewah and it has been fantastic, i tried hyperspin and that was complete rubbish.

Thanks guys

GameEx fully supports any emulator which utilizes a command line interface. Note that several popular emulators utilize a command line interface in addition to a windows menu style interface. Additional support can be found for emulators that don't utilize a command line interface, but this support typically comes in the form of third-party loaders and scripts. I'd wager a guess that the list of emulators supported by GameEx is far bigger than the list of unsupported emulators.

Hopefully that answer is not too obtuse. If you have any questions about setting up specific emulators within GameEx please don't hesitate to post back.

As a matter of fact I don't know of even one it doesn't support in one way or another. ;)
