pirate3004 Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 Could someone please help me. I am trying to find somewhere that does stickers for my arcade machine. I need 2 full side panels, the screen and control panel. I have tried a couple of printing companies but they were quoting me about £500 - £600.Any help would be much apreciated.ThanksDavid
Adultery Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 Try GameOnGrafx!Great company, they do great work also.I actually did some PC repair for a local sign shop and in exchange they did my cab artwork (marquee, bezel, side art, etc). Had I not had that opportunity I wold have gone with GameOnGraphx without even thinking about it.
celly Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 Yeah +1 to Game On Grafix. They did my sideart, marquee and cpo. Super quick and very professional.
pirate3004 Posted May 4, 2012 Author Posted May 4, 2012 Thats great thanks guys. Could you do me a favour and let me know roughly how much for the lot.... are we talking hundreds or not too bad?thanks
deadboy Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Side art tends to be pretty steep. Can range from 50 for the smaller stuff to a couple hundred for the bigger ones that cover the entirety of the side of the cab. Maybe another 100 for the bezel and control panel combined (depending on size). That's dollars of course.
Adultery Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Email Scott and I'm sure he'll give you an estimate if you have artwork already in mind.
Dan_Dan_91_07 Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 A BYOAC user printed mine and sent it from America for around 70 quid or something - this is for a marquee and two half-sides. He doesn't do it anymore however, but yeah, Game On Grafix were my second choice (and I researched A LOT) although I never got a quote from them. Those figures you gave are absolutely ridiculous! >.>
los abrazos rotos Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 I can recommend http://www.pixartprinting.co.uk/ - I have just got all my art done for under £80. I was quoted hundreds by printshops too. These guys dont offer much in the way of support but as long as you do exactly as the instructions tell you its easy. This is what I had done:http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=119108.0Without doubt the cheapest & best option in the UK
Dan_Dan_91_07 Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 Oh yeah - it was actually much less than that.It cost $73.52 - a discount of $13.13 = $60.39 (£37.40). This is including £13 to get it sent to me as well. Yeah, I got a massive bargain!
los abrazos rotos Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 Sweet, I got enough art done for 2 machines for about 60 quid i think, something silly like that. A 2 day turnaround too.
