Hi All, I hope you are all well and can help me out??

The machine was working fine until I started it up again???

The XP PC shows a problem in the device manager with the Raid Controller as no drivers are installed ( is this the cause of the problems below?? if it is how is it fixed??? )

The screen it boots up into and stays on is the Multimedia screen, the only options it shows are:

Multimedia ( when clicked it goes to Kareoke )

More games and programmes ( when clicked theme picker / screensaver )

News

Exit

What do I need to download or change to get the machine working??

Any help would be graciously recieved

Thanks

Sounds like the recenttly reported issue which is fixed for the next release. Either change the view or turn off 3d transitions.

Either that or somehow your settings were lost or your working off a new install. If you just upgraded you may need to rename and replace and GameEx.ini with the backup in the config folder. The list of items you see sounds like the same for a new install.

No problem, and welcome to the forums.

GamEx is normally installed to your C drive. You access the c drive by going into my computer or windows explorer. GameEx is normally on the root of the C: drive. C:\GameEx. There is a config folder within that. If your setting were lost during an upgrade go to the config folder. Rename GameEx.ini (configuration settings) to something else then rename GameEx.UpgradeBackup.ini to GameEx.ini. If you dont see the file extensions in the folder you wont need to put or see the .ini after the file.

Hopefully it is as simple as that.
