Betabrite led display

Hi, i have a betabrite led display from a pga tour golf machine and i have heard that it can be setup to display game titles while playing games within mame, this will be used on a new cab i am converting, i will be using gameex and have paid for lifetime support as i have gameex on my other cab, any help would be great.

hi Mark..

make sure that betabrite is installed on you new pc.. now go to the gameex folder in the startmenu and look at the Plugin Manager in Folder Configuration and start it. Now enable LCD/LED Plugin. mark this entry and click on the button Configure.. here you can activate the betabrite.. after configurate the options click on save and exit..

I'm quite an expert with the Alpha LED signs and the protocol, which I beleive is the same as Betabrites. If there's anything I can do to help let me know. I've also writted some apps for the Alpha LED signs if you're interested.

Hi Chazz, This maybe a abit of a slow starter as i plan on doing this while being laid up after a knee replacement, hoping to be the next month or two but very interested in getting the sign displaying various information.

You can see a video of GameEx using the PluginLCD to control a BetaBrite.

in germany we can't see this video.. it is protected.. some musicrights are reserved :-( works other LED Boards too? Betabright isn't buyable here in germany.. i found it in one reseller vor 365 Euros.. thats expensive..
