I love the fact how these boards just let topics drift into the blue lagoon of pages 2 and beyond, where no one reads them if no one updates them.

We need to have a hierarchy of sections where we can post relevant subjects and issues rather than one pool with all kinds of topics.

Good idea but forum sections are hard to quantify... They can get out of hand fast. Just need to keep an eye on the # of them so that you do not have to scroll 2 pages down to find the right topic. And make sure there is an All other Topics section (where you will invariably have to move threads to their proper section, but nonetheless is needed).

I'm not even really sure what sections to suggest as anything that I can think of would seem to narrow the # of threads too much (maybe a HELP ME! section?). IMHO I think b/t the traffic and topics posted on this board the current setup works.

(But I have not been 'posting' long so I'd put more weight in that of Smiff, headkaze, etc. and the like).
