Joystick configuration show in GameEx?

Is there anyway to display in GameEx (on the menu page) what joystick configuration is needed to play a game in Mame? Be it a 2way or 4way or 8way joystick? Thanks

Not at the moment, but I have just finished writing the GameEx Theme Editor application which has a control panel editor. At the moment it's very basic, but in future versions you can bet that it will show the joystick configs for each game. It's very easy to add since the info is in controls.ini, infact I should have added it in version 1 of the theme editor, but I didn't want to throw too much shit to add for Tom. But expect support soon

So when I want to play a game lets say in MAME, GameEx will tell me to use a trackball or a spinner or joystick or whatever to control the game?
