Hi, I'm new here and currently trying the gameex frontend for my future project, an emulating system build in a super nes case. I have set up the frontend and can see my roms in the frontend. Some of them have meta data like number of players and so on, but the most roms don't have these informations. I used gamebrowser before, a plugin for media browser which is a plugin for windows media center. In gamebrowser you have xml files with all the information in it, but where does gameex store these informations? Are they online? How does gameex match the roms to the correct informations? Just with the title? I tried it with 13 nes roms (all in one folder) and it seems that gameex just found the info for one game (Tecmo Super Bowl). All the other games (The Addams Family, The Goonies II) don't have any info at all. Are there any rules for the filenames?

I read something about clrmamepro and tried it but when i scan the files it just wants to delete all roms because they are unneeded? And what does 'sets' mean in clrmamepro?

Sorry for all these nooby questions. :)

Ok, i think i understand clrmamepro now. The files have to be compressed, thats why the tool wanted to delete alle roms before. I did a rebuild on my test roms und gameex now finds information for most of them, but still not for all.

But there is one strange thing: The only rom for which gameex found the info before was Tecmo Super Bowl. Exactly this rom is only one that gets skipped when i rebuild the connection but i don't know why it is skipped.
