Can you try setting the resolution in the setup wizard to the same as the theme and see if the problem persists.

Uhmmm... maybe the cause was this: after loading and quitting that snes game, GameEx set the resolution to 1280x1280 instead of the initial 1280x800?

That was just some debugging text I added Alpha. I believe I have fixed the issue. Also some other potential issues with themes too.

Hi Chazz!

I just wanted to check in with you to see how Confluence:GEX is coming along. I can barely wait to see a completed version of this theme! I’m hoping that you won’t let it languish as it’s way too awesome to never see the light of a full release! (You've also clearly put a ton of work and craftsmanship into this thing).

OTOH sometimes you need to take a break from projects like this in order to return with new enthusiasm. And naturally sometimes these projects take a back seat to real life.

So this intended as encouragement more than anything. There’s a lot of community excitement behind this project. Thanks for all the work you’ve put into it!

Perhaps if you’ll entertain the notion I might be allowed to make a brief comparison. Two exceedingly brilliant men, both a bit reclusive, but for different reasons.

Henry David Thoreau vanished from the public eye so that he might, “live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if (he) could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when (he) came to die, discover that (he) had not lived.”

Much later wealthy industrialist Howard Hughes also chose to withdraw from the public eye. This was so he could sit naked in a personal film screening room watching Ice Station Zebra 150 times in a row, all the while choosing to relieve himself in empty milk jars for fear of using the proper facilities.

Chazz in your case I very much hope it’s the former and not the later. :D

Nah, seriously though, I hope you don’t mind the razzing. :P I’m just running out of ways to express the collective anticipation for this sweet, sweet theme. Any news on a release date?

I’ve also noticed that your image hosting has gone tits up. I hope that all is well on your end, and that this isn’t an indication of the sort of public withdrawal I mention above. We miss you buddy! Feel free to let one of us know if you’re in search of alternate hosting options!
