Screenshot/snaps issues

2 problems here. Browsed around and couldn't find a satisfactory answers...

1. Screenshots for my PC games... I have taken screenshots and formatted to both .PNG and .JPG, and placed them in the GameEX\Meda\Logos folder (as per the ?? in the configuration tool). In the Config tool I have tried the file name with no extension and both extensions.

- Does the screenshot need to be a specific dimension or resolution? Is there something obvious that I am missing?

2. The Take Snaps function... I have set up the snaps folders for the appropriate emulators (in config tool as well) but when I try to use the funtion in GameEx it always tells me there is an incorrect path for the snaps folder.

- This may have been addressed on another thread I posted on (I think)... and for the past few days http://screenshotarchive.com/ as been down due to the domain name not being renewed. If there is any easier way or maybe we could set up an account at http://www.filefactory.com/ and everyone can upload their snaps shots for any needed emulators? (If needed I could help control it and update a thread with detials).

I am currently attempting to DL the Nes and N64 snaps (*edit) posted by gte024h but they are coming along a bit slow.

I see that you've put them in the "logos" folder. Perhaps you should create two folders for each game, "snaps" and "title" and in the emulator setup link the appropriate one to each.

No (but I'll try that as well, Thanks). In the configuration program it has a field for the name of the snapshot (in this case I am talking about external PC apps like Madden 2002 or Virtua Tennis for PC). In the app it says to put the snap in the \GameEx\Media\Logos file (Maybe I'll have a look where the Snes and N64 etc console snap is). I assume it must be the wrong path but did not have time to poke around further last night.

If I remember right it did not give me the option to adda Snap/Title folder path for external PC apps.

Sorry I believe the help in the config app is out of date the correct location for logos should be gameex/themes/[Chosen Theme]/Logos

Not too sure, I think GameEx does two checks, that the folder phyisical exists and that it is equal to something in the config. Maybe an extra back slash is added or missing?
