gameex mame not finding roms in UNC path

For the past 2 days I've been trying to setup gameex to read rom files from a UNC path however it's not working...

1) ROMPATH=\\tower\Emulation\Roms\MAME

Gameex fails to load with "Invalid Rom Path" error.

2) ROMPATH=C:\Games\MameUI32\roms;\\tower\Emulation\Roms\MAME

Gameex loads but fails to see any roms located within the UNC path

Using mameui32.exe I have the UNC path I've setup in gameex settings and I'm able to launch games fine.

I think I have found and fixed the problem. Please replace gameex.exe with the attached and let me know.
