GameEX kicks me back out when I load any rom!!!!!

Newbe here :D

Using GameEx for the first time Tom brill system that you have made :D

Done fairly well so far mapped rom directorys for my various emu's, updated list and actually found more roms than i ever thought i had :)

When trying to launch any game though I have the following problem:

All roms that i try to play kicks me straight back out to GameEx no errors message, nothing!!!! :angry:

I am using the latest mame 103

any ideas anyone what I might need to check :huh:

When that happened to me, I went nuts trying to figure it out. I accidentally stumbled across the solution. For me the solution was in the Advanced Mame Settings in the configuration GUI. The third option down is "Bypass Disclaimer/Warnings." It was set to "yes." I changed it to "no." After that, the games loaded up. I hope this is the solution to your problem!

I am not at home but I remember the option and it is set to bypass. I bet that does the trick! Thank alot. I will report back with my results this evening. thanks again B)

First thing to try is mame from the command line to make sure you can start it from a dos box.

Or use a MAME32 build, like MAME32FX for example. If it can run your games fine, hook it up to GameEx and that should work fine as well.
