another no games found thread.......

Got all the Nintendo emus running with no problems,but Mame keeps giving me no games found.Does GameEx suppirt the roms in zip files for mame?please dont make me go manually unzip 3700 folders

I tried search,but i didnt see any relevant returns found.

yes it supports zips. Did you update the list?

yes I did,double checked paths and everything.

In that case -this issue is normally one of two things:

1. Your paths are still not correct

2. Your using either an old or unsupported version of MAME that is missing command line options required by GameEx (I am guessing this is it).

Also ensure your mame on its own is working.

You definitely need to try MAME on its own and ensure it works without the front end involved.

Mame on it own is fine.has been and the pth is absolutly correct.Please someone suggest a specific version and i will track it down and get it.

Got it,it was a old nonsupported version,all is good!!!!
