game played, returning to gamelist takes to long

just updated my system, put windwow 7 64 bit on my new hard drive, bought an arcadevga 3000 series and registred and installed gameex

i'm still setting up the system and building the cab but i want to know one thing

whenever i played a game and i want to return back to the game selection screen, it takes at least 2 minutes to show me that gamelist again.

it was faster before on my old pentium 4 , so its a bit annoying

did someone here had the same issue and resolved it?

Try deleting the files in GameEx DATA folder that end in cache and rebuild your game list again.

thanks, registered to the forums back in 2006 , but it can't be any cache related files since i just installed it and tryed a couple of games , i installed gameex yesterday

IN addition to the log, try hitting esc twice, see if that resolves it and it drops back faster. If so, it means you're emu either isn't exiting quickly on esc or it's taking a bit for gameex to kill the process.
