Got one more question. I cannot get the screensaver working. It starts to load, screen goes black, then GameEX come back to where it was before the process started. Any suggestions would be HIGHLY appreciated!!!! Also I have no videos I want to load or display on my screensaver........

I am having the same problem. I currently have game ex 5.34, I am going mto try to upgrade and see if that fixes it. I also am using instant sheller. I am going to stop using instant sheller and see if the screen saver starts working.

I replaced the GameEx.exe with no better results. I have attached another log file, one that was taken right after two sets of failures to load the screen saver.

GameEx is exiting attract mode because it is detecting the F9 key on your keyboard. Can you think if any reason why F9 is pressed on your system?

NOPE. Never pushed a button either time. Running a wireless keyboard and mouse (logitech) with a secure keyboard. The F9 key for me is setup to

explore c: drive. Any suggestions?

No ideas sorry. You could try a different version of MAME.

Tom I have noticed, when I first boot into gameex, and if I dont go into any sub menus, I just leave it completely alone, the scrren saver will work. But If I go into a menu or play a game, from that point on the screen saver will not work. I will try the exe above and let you know. Thanks in advance for the help and thanks for a GREAT product.

I had the same problem,but after i had finished playing a game and then returned to main list of games it works perfectly every time,i am also using instant sheller.

What i mean is that if you play a game and leave it in its own repeditive pictures,the screensaver would not work,but if you exited back to main menu after playing a game it should work fine.

BEWARE: I am using a wireless mouse and it is *severely* effected by my wireless connection to my arcade cabinet (to the point where heavy traffic results in a mouse that can't be controlled and this is a $130 lazer Logitec wireless mouse). I have no idea why there is a conflict it seems insaine to me to use the same frequencies. But this could be your problem interference with you wireless keyboard. Try disconnecting the wireless keyboard and see if the problem dissapears. Otherwise you could have a faulty IPAC or something, but as Tom says something is triggering F9. Keys don't just press themselves
