exit/home buttons missing on all themes

I have downloaded and installed the newest gameex as of 3 days ago from scratch, including the themes. I also have enabled the buttons through the wizard. Yet, none of my themes are displaying the buttons. The buttons I mean are the ones typically on the top right under the title. Any ideas?

The home and exit buttons are only visible on version 1 and version 2 themes. I suspect that is the reason. If you have the horizontal menu you are using a version 3 or 4 theme.
