Disable configuration, weather, etc???

For some oddball reason, I can't seem to disable to 'additional programs' options in Gameex even though I turned them off in config. What I want is basically 'GameEx Lite' with the ability to use plugins...clean, cab friendly, etc.

Can anyone give some guidance?

By 'additional programs' do you mean "More Games & Programs"? If so then if none of the features are enabled in that section then it won't show up. So if running GameEx Lite all the features will be turned off but one by default. That feature is "Show Start Screensaver" found in the Enable/Disable Features of setup. Turning it to No will keep it from showing on the list and therefore will keep "More Games & Programs" from showing on the list as well.

GameEx lite is actually working fine - I need to run GameEx, not GameEx lite because I want the LED Plugin though :/

I've disabled the Weather Icon - there's still an item in the More Games & Programs. I've disabled the configuration utility, it's still there.

Not sure if there's some hidden way to disable them...or my setup is just screwed up.

Sounds like your config may be messed up. What folder do you have GameEx isntalled and what Os are you running? I am wondering if it is a user rights issue. However the Weather can also be enabled and overriden by a theme.

EDIT: It looks like the setting to disable configuration is not working. Ill get if fixed for the next release.

EDIT 2: Its fixed here for the next release. The weather is probably down to the theme.

Thanks. I'm using the Galaxian theme but am in the process of redoing it to match my cab...I'll make sure the weather selection is off in that and report back.

If your referring to the weather HTML application and not the ICON, the weather app is an HTML application and is disabled under that section.

That was it for the weather Tom, thanks. The search function doesn't show that item when you search for weather.
