[RESOLVED] Disabling video info page and movie database

Hello,

just registered my GameEx copy, and began the long way to setup my media/game center

Firstly: Thank you, great, future rich frontend!

Two questions so far:

- Can I disable the "video info" page, that pops up between selecting the video to play and actually playing this video.

- Can I disable cashing / creating database / looking for arts / whatever it does just before playing every NEW video. It takes a lot of time, and i don't really need this database thing, so could it be disabled?

Yes, mostly. You can disable the info page under enable/disable features. Its called Show Game Info Page but this will disable the page for games too. You need to use the advcanced mode of the setup wizard to get to enable/disable features.

The delay is when its searching for a description, you turn this off under Video settings - Download descriptions. Although note it only does it once per file.

For "Show Game Info" there are some problems... Some of my sets are "goodmerged", and it seems that it's on this page that the actual rom in .7z is chhoosen. I don't need "video info" neither "game info" pages, but i still need to choose the rom inside .7z archive... But it's impossible, i guess

Try enableing the 7zip/goodmerge option for that romset. I think it will still display the rom list after extracting on those particular roms. It just won't have all the description details. I could be wrong though, I always used the details.
