Exit emulator by key combination like "5+v"

Last week i've registered GameEx including Free updates forever. I've setup everything but now i have one big problem.

Can anyone please tell me how i change the standard "Exit emulator" key ESC for all the emulators to a key combination like "5 + v". I've tried a lot of things, keyremappers, autohotkey but nothing works. I'm using a arcade stick which is connected by jpac.

Because this problem i'm not using GameEx because i don't like to walk everytime to the keyboard to a exit an emulator

I hope someone can help me with solving this problem, thnx.

Built into GameEx is a program called Advanced Config editor which allows you to remap any key to whatever key you want, and its very easy to set up. i have a cab with a button mapped to ESC, also r using an IPAC as you mentioned JPAC, if in fact it is an IPAC the utility that comes with that also allows you to reconfigure any key to be any other key.

In Advanced Emulator setup the option advanced config allows you to set keys. But you will need to set it up using the Advanced Config editor.

Hmmm, i've tried it and it doesn't work I only can set the ESC key to 1 key, i want tot set it to a combination of keys, 5 + v.

On the General tab there is a text box labeled Keys To Send On Exit. This should allow for more than 1 key to be mapped.

Ok. I misunderstood. Sorry. You're trying to remap your exit key to a combination instead of a single key. The one I suggested is used to send a specific keypress when ESCAPE is pressed. So this will not help you.

Exactly, i want to remap the ESC key to a combination of keys. I've tried Maxmimus Arcade yesterdag. In this frontend i can end every emulator by a self choosen key combination and it works good. But i wanna use GameEx I hope someone can help me ?

I have one question, must i change in the custominput.ini the values behind the GLOBALESCAPEKEYCOMBO paramter to the values i want to use to get it work ?

Yes.

There should be a list of codes heres: C:\GameEx\CONFIG\EMULATORS\VKCodes.htm
