Hi,

Many thanks for the feedback, it's always appreciated.

The reason for the Jukebox, is because GameEx is not just for MCE, it will also run on less glamorous versions of Windows. Myself for example am lucky enough to have an MCE setup connected to my TV and an Arcade Cab running Windows 2000 with an Arcade Monitor. You can turn off the Jukebox easily enough.

Thanks,

Tom

I just want to toss in my 2 bits and say thank you, for creating

such a nice front end!

I've been involved in the mame scene for some time, and have played

with just about every EMu out there, and most seem to be aimed at

the "I have a 486 and I want a powerful frontend that does

everything!!!" crowd, or the others that support every EMU out

there, but are usually too convoluted and twisted in their

configuration files to get anything to work without hours of effort.

You have come out with a beautiful tie in, as my cab's running a

nice, cheap P4 2.8, and XPMCE, that brings the whole thing together.

I just put the new PC in the cab last night, and have a older

version of gamex (before Daphne Enu support) and loved it from the

simplicity to set it up, to the nice interface that blends the

transition from MCE to mame without any bumps.

There are a couple of things I'm curious about as well.... (isn't

there always?)

I was curious about the reason to tie in a jukebox when MCE allready

has one built in? it almost seems redundant, but as I havn't played

with it yet, I may be missing something.

I currently have Gameex, Daphne, MadDog Mcgree, and PJ64 (nintendo)

enulator launching from it. Is it possible in a future release to

support PJ64 nativly in Gameex and some of the other command line

driven enulators? I think that tying these in would take Gameex to

the top of the availiable multiemulator list!

Thanks again for creating such a nice, and easy to use FE, I'm going

to be downloading the newest version tonight, Can't wait to start

playing!
