Hi there, I downloaded my PinballX and in the last 5 months I get my pinball cabinet working really great, for that I would thank all the people in this community who made this possible. I've a little question about an issue not that much important but which could be "the cherry on the pie" . My cabinet has 3 monitors and for many tables I had the DMD on the third monitor which is a 16:9 shaped 10" type. To get the right proportion I resize the DMD window to occupy the center of the vertical size of that monitor. I already placed on the desktop an image which fills the upper and the lower areas of the monitor that are unused by the DMD. This works great when I launch the tables directly from the OS, or when I run them from the PinballX Game List Manager or also when I run the very nice gtxJoe's PBX Recorder, but when I launch them from PinballX the desktop background image is completely removed leaving the two areas black. Is there any solution to this behavior? Thank you in advance for your time reading this message. Massimo

Could someone please help me. I have a 3 monitor setup with the following displays :- Top Monitor : Backglass Middle Monitor : Topper Video ( top half of screen ), DMD ( bottom half of screen ) Bottom Monitor : Playfield Using Pinballx to launch Pinball FX2, Pinball FX3 and Mame. Everything working well and I have set up media for all system wit the help from the FTP site. One thing I would like to do is currently when a Pinball FX game starts the black glass shows, dmd is controlled by the game and the playfield shows. When the topper video stops the black desktop wallpaper just shows while in the game. Is there a way to change the wallpaper on the middle monitor to reflect the table being played. I could create some images so that the logo of thee game show in the top half as the bottom half would be obscured by the dmd. A few programs available on the internet are ultramon and display fusion, but If someone has an idea of how I would set them up and how to launch the command line / script with table name arguments it would be very appreciated.

Hi, I'm loving GameEx but I've hit a snag. I have custom wallpaper backgrounds (and foregrounds, due to not wanting box art to overtake the background image) for each emulator section. GameEx stutters and sometimes crashes when I when I switch emulator sections. Sometimes when entering an emulator section, GameEx tries to load the custom background images, fails and the background reverts to the image I have when starting up GameEx, other times the whole program crashes. It doesn't happen everytime and oddly enough, some emulator sections load wallpaper smoother than others, but that might be coincidence. Also, every background and forground is a .png file if that helps or matters. I was hoping there was a solution and that I wouldn't have to resort to using just one background image throughout all of GameEx. I like to use an image relating to the game system I am about to play. I have a GameEx startup image and different background images for most of the emulator sections. I've included the crash report, if you still need the gameex.ini let me know. Thanks.
