Hi. I've just updated my 4.x PinballX to the last 5.19, and I've seen it should be possible to use animated wheel images in apng format. I've downloaded a few ones, and when I use the game manager, the options are .png . gif and .apng, but when I try to use an .apng wheel, it doesn't work... It asks me if I want to overwrite my previous wheel (.png format), I say "yes", but it's still my old .png file that appears after launching PinballX ??? Did I missed something obvious ? Thank you for any help.

I am able to load games through the front end, but they crash after I hit player 1 or player 2 start. I get kicked back to the GameEx page for whatever game I was trying to play. It then disallows me from leaving this page. On said page, the “play game” option is replaced with “resume game”. Upon resuming the game, one of two things happens. For a game like Defender, the game resumes and plays like nothing happened. For a game like The Simpsons, the video does not appear on screen while the audio continues to play. Some games like Pac-Man and Q*bert do not encounter these issues whatsoever and start fine through GameEx. I have no idea what is going on here, and I did not see anyone with the same issue. I’d appreciate any and all help. NOTE: This only happens when playing games through GameEx. The ROMs run perfectly through MAME.

Restarting an issue thread as I thought the problem was exiting FX2 but it is not. Pinball X is shutting down while in FX2. Fx2 used to work just fine for me, over 1 year ago. (Not with current versions of FX2 or PinballX) So after doing a lot of playing, trying to figure out the log file I see what is happening just don't know why. As requested I did remove any reference to run before or after in FX2 First issue was the XPaddder plugin was not initializing so I switched to using the x360ce emulator which works fine with FX2 running by itself. Still have to map an escape button. No errors showing up there now. However when playing FX2 through pinball X all of the sudden (randomly) the backglass disappears or reverts to one of the VP backglasses. Cycling through my open programs shows that Pinball X has closed. The Log text shows some errors there. Downloaded 2.5 and re installed with no change Any help is appreciated. Stuart log.txt PinballX.ini

Hello, I have had trouble trying to get a fresh install of GameEx to work. I keep getting an error message during the installation that says "error creating INI entry in file C:\GameEx\Config\GameEx.ini." This is with the latest version of GameEx. I did previously have GameEx installed and configured on this PC, but after having some issues being able to open the program and being unable to upgrade it I deleted it in the hopes that I could just start over with a clean slate, but unfortunately I can't get past this error. I tried disabling Windows Security Essentials because I noticed that it was identifying one of the installation files as a threat, but even after turning that off I still get the error message. Any help getting past this error would greatly be appreciated. I just recently got my arcade back out of storage after a couple years of not having room for it and I'm excited to get it back running in my new house. Thanks.
