Hello, I've been using PinBallX for some time and wouldn't go any other way. I am a bit confused as to some of the folders in PinBallX. For example, the loading folders. I'm using Visual Pinball 10.7.2 as my only emulator. I put a few loading png's into C:\PinballX\Media\Loading Images, as the images do load it seems they load randomly even with the same file names. Their other media files load so I know I have the names right lol. I guess my question is can you have a loading screen for each table? If so how is this done? Is there some documentation on folders and subfolders in PinballX? Thanks for any info or help, Spacegoogie

Hello Tom, could you explain me how XDMD does the grayscale or colour handling of bitmap images ? Background of my question: I'm trying to create some static Real DMD Images for my PinDMD v2 with Vishay. I use GIMP 2.8, with a canvas of 128x32 and have defined a palette with 8 gray levels between 0% and 100% My problem is, that values below 50% all seems to be too bright on the Vishay. Anything between 5% and 50% looks the same. What I'm doing wrong ? Thanks a lot for some more information.

As most of you are aware, GameEx will display logos from Manufacturers when you are performing searches "By Manufacturer." To date, there are no logos being submitted with themes or separate packs. Since there are so many game manufacturers for everything from the Arcade classics to PC Games and console/handheld systems, it would be a difficult undertaking for one individual. I would like to solicit the help of the community to get this collection going. I would like to recommend a few guidelines to help ensure the best quality available: Size: As large as possible. Remember that the quality is better when scaling down than up. Nothing smaller than 600px on the smallest dimension, Format (in preferred order): SVG, EPS, PNG Please submit "raw" logos whenever possible (i.e., not modifications of company logos to fit a theme). Best sources I have found are from sites such as Wikipedia, Brands of the World, Jap-Sai to name a few. If you know more, please fee free to add! Where to obtain the names of the manufacturers? One place is the manulist.txt file in the \Gameex\data\ directory. Another would be in the various system db files. I will check with Tom to see if he can provide a .csv listing manufacturers from the Games Database project. To start, I will seed a few images as good examples: Manufacturer Logos.zip Developer.zip
