Hi gang. I am once again looking for help with Nulldc. It is working great, but listing games that I have deleted. I found an earlier post that said to delete all of the cache files. I did that and it is still showing games that are no longer there. How can I make GameEx rescan the files? Or am I going about this wrong? I am including my Nulldc.ini and Gameex.ini Sega Dreamcast.txt GameEx.txt

Hi, after reading the thread about ePSXe I was able to get that running (finally). However I cant quite get Nulldc running properly. It lists the games, but when I select a game I just launches Nulldc, but not the actual game. Ideally, it would just launch the game without me seeing the Nulldc interface, but at this point if it would just launch the game that would be great. I have included my config file for your viewing pleasure. Nulldc.txt

Couldn't think of where to post this - wonder if a topic of "Emulator Discussions" may be beneficial? So - trying to decide between NullDC, Demul and MakaronEX... Took some screenies on each - at settings that my test machine could handle for all 3 (i.e. equal load on PC resources for all 3 Emus). Below are the results.. I know this is a very rough rule of thumb, but I was surprised to find MakaronEX giving the nicest visuals (despite it no longer being developed and based on the old Makaron?). Looks like there's no other video plugins for these emus. Anyone got any advice for best graphics performance? GPU settings for each below screens. Demul (0582): Res - 1280x800 Int res: 2x Max Layers: 32 Shaders: 1-pass FXAA NullDC (1.04, r150) Res - 1280x800 AR - Stretch Palleted Textures - Dynamic, Full Sort: Per Triangle Mod Voules: Normal and Clip Z-Buffer: D24FS8 Texture cache: Delete old MakaronEx (v4.1 New Gen) Res - 1280x800 Render: High Resolution (Stretch) Advanced: Tri_linear selected Anisotrophy @ 16 Shaders: Bloom+FXAA

Scenario - You're booting Dreamcast games from GameEx via NullDC. However, you have to set up the game settings each time. Some games require change of graphics/sound settings and key mappings to your cab controls are very different across games. Solution: This approach saves the configs for each game when you exit Demul. Use: Run game. Set up controls via NullDC menu. Exit Game. Next time you load that game, the controls will be recalled. How to: 1. Make a folder somewhere for your individual game controls 2. Copy this text and make a bat file: 3. Change the User Variables Section to match your system. Save it as a batch file (use notepad - put .bat at end of filename) 4. In your command line for GameEx, enter the following: {Path and bat} "[ROM]" "[ROMPATH]" "[ROMFILE]" For e.g.: C:\GameEx\AHKS_BATS\nulldc_game_settings.bat "[ROM]" "[ROMPATH]" "[ROMFILE]" 5. Copy text below into notepad and save as "[Mapping Off] Exit (Process Close) - NullDC.ini" in C:\GameEx\CONFIG\EMULATORS

I have Just installed nullDC Dreamcast emulator, and its working fine BUT!! when I select a game from the list at the bottom left it just goes to the emulator and doesn`t load the game I choose, as it does on other emulators eg: SNES,Future Pinball,Mame.etc is it something I have set up wrong? It will load the game by selecting play from the top left menu and pointing to the folder & then selecting the rom. as you would on a PC,but that is defeating the whole concept of GameEx.I have set up the emulator in game wizard to point to the correct folder and done a verify and I said earlier it shows the games but does not play them. ut that is defeating the whole concept of GameEx isn`t it

Hi folks, NullDC led me a merry dance with sound problems and all sorts - all off the last stable official build. Some guy's done an optimized version that works straight out the box: http://www.ngemu.com/forums/showthread.php?t=151606 A godsend Thought I'd share to spare others the pain that so often comes with Emulator setups

Hi, I have recently decided to add nulldc to my games. I've configured it all properly in the config (enabled too), but when I load gameex I only see mame games. I don't have a start page or anything it just loads straight into the list. What am I doing wrong? Thank you
