Detailed below are the Terms & Rules that all members agreed upon registering as a member of the Spesoft forums: Forum Terms & Rules: Please remember that we are not responsible for any messages posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message. The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of this bulletin board. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to alert the GameEx or PinballX staff immediately by clicking the "REPORT" option at the bottom of the offending post. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary. You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this bulletin board to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law. If you contribute any materials to the GameEx and PinballX communities, you are hereby allowing the contribution's usage by GameEx or PinballX and it's community members (within reason). We will not go back through your post history and remove your contributions for any reason, excepting copyright laws and treaties. You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or by this bulletin board. The forum is for over 16's only. If you are younger than 16 then don't join, or get your parent/guardian to join. Additional Forum Guidelines and Rules: 1. If you are a new to GameEx or PinballX and you have an issue to report, please refer to the following guides on how to properly ask for assistance: GameEx - How to ask for help PinballX - How to ask for help Following the steps in these guides when reporting an issue will, in many cases will save us all time and get your problem resolved more quickly. 2. Do not request ROMS or any data or media that is either illegal or breaks copyright laws or ask where to find or provide information on where to find such items. 3. Do not talk or post links about illegal software or using software illegally. This includes commercial applications when used illegaly (cracks, hacks, warez etc), and free software when used illegaly including illegal MAME builds. 4. Using "lite" versions of Microsoft Windows OSs can cause unforseen compatibility issues with our software. They also pose a potential legality of versions when acquired from other than the authorized sources. Please use "vanilla" versions only as we cannot not guarantee support. 5. Do not put profanities in topic titles. You can use profanities in message posts, but use them constructively and in context if possible 6. If someone offends you and this is more than just a disagreement of opinion or small cuss, either ignore it or try to resolve the matter in a civil manner by PM. If this does not work PM a moderator or administrator. 7. The Spesoft forums are for over 16's only. 8. Topic titles and topic content should be in English. Other languages are allowed but you should provide an English translation or an explanation of what your posting about. 9. Like operating systems, front ends, launchers and many software packages, GameEx and PinballX can be used either legally or illegally. It is assumed by staff members, contributors and owners that your use of the software is legal. 10. You are welcome and encouraged to report any violations to an administrator or moderator. 11. Use of any Spesoft software (GameEx and any of its variants, PinballX, Convert-It, etc.) as part of any commercial resale (i.e. pre-configured cabinets, hard drives, or similiar distribution for profit) or packaged free redistribution of the same (i.e., MEGA download or the like) is strictly forbidden without express approval of the author. Such unapproved usage may result in access restriction up to and including a permanent ban and possible legal action.
