  1. Is there somewhere inside the GameEx folder that I can get the MAME .map file? I know the path of .map files is, at least on my computer: C: \ GameEx \ MAP FILES " It turns out that when configuring this emulator in "GameEx Menu Editor", I can choose in the "Item Type" tab, the option "MAME" or the option that I created called "Arcade". The problem is that when I choose the option "Arcade" the names of the roms are not configured. Appearing the real names of the files. While the option "MAME" could not do that once choosing this system within the gameex I can already see the list of games. It is always necessary for me to choose the MAME system, then go to the screen where we have to choose between types of games like: Horizontal games Vertical games CPS Games etc... I wanted that once chosen the MAME system already appeared the list of games, instead of choosing the system, then having to choose the type of game to only then enter the list of MAME games. In short, is there a way to go right through the "all Mame games" part? If someone owns the file ".map" of the MAME system also serves !!! I know the reason may sound stupid, but it really bothers me .... I think I should have some degree of obsessive compulsive disorder !!!
  2. I figured I'd start a new thread since my issue has changed from basic organization to specifically Map file woes. Here's my original thread: http://www.gameex.info/forums/topic/14332-folders-for-emulated-games/ I want to organize my games by multiplayer and non-multiplayer (and eventually other categories). The way I'm trying to go about this is by making a separate emulator entry for each console's multiplayer library (NES, NES Multiplayer, Atari 7800, Atari 7800 multiplayer, etc.) and then linking the multiplayer instances to a map file. I made map files for each of the systems using Map Magician, but I get an error every time GameEx tries to access them. What can I do? My log is listed below; I've attached my map file, the normal Atari 7800 emulator instance, and the Multiplayer Atari 7800 emulator instance. Atari 7800 (MESS).ini Atari 7800 Multiplayer Games.ini 2-Player Atari 7800.zip
  3. Hello! I'm having a little trouble in getting GameEx to launch a batch file (in the Advance Emulators Section) after a game exits. Can someone shed some light on what I'm doing wrong? Thanks! LC log.txt GameEx.ini
  4. Howdy Howdy!!! Lol, its been awhile since I last took the time to log in and browse - I've been stuck finalizing my cab before the first of a series of game nights I'm hosting...gonna have some good bbq in a few weeks. Anyway, glad to be back! For the past six days alone, I've been running through all the games, to make sure that they work and also map the non working games with a differant version of MAME. Is there a certian file from Mapping Magician that I can backup, so that I won't have to spend a good bit of time remapping anything in case something goes south? Thanks in advance! And I hope all is doing well! LC
