I will post the Gameex.ini later as I am on another computer. Now to the issue: The only thing I changed was removing 3 emulators that gave me issues and then adding 3 new emulators for the same systems to try those out(I have only 1 emulator representing each system added). I exited the wizard, started up Gameex Evo an was greeted with a popup error window. This appeared after the original gameex blue window loaded and said done. I chose continue with the program as my option and at the homepage no game system graphics appeared at all, while everything else worked. I could hear movement sounds as if the graphics were still there. Subsequent tries loading Gameex Evo yielded the same error. Edit: Screenshot added. Has something to do with game system appearing/layout.

I have added the roms in .rar format in the default pathway for the roms according to the Setup Wizard. When I click the folder beside the path, it opens up the folder with the roms in it. When I select that game system and click list games not a single one shows up. I tested this for a single system, and "yes" is selected from the drop down menu to open games in .rar/.zip/7z format. Is there some other step needed besides simply adding roms to the correct folder? Edit: Gameex.ini added. Final Edit: I realized that I had to use the Setup Wizard, select the emulator, and hit Audit Games icon and games showed up under the list. [GAMEEX].ini

Good day guuys! Pleasure to see you all again. I hope some of you guys liked or in some cases mind me making a video helping new people joining the fold around here. Many un-answered questions from users who was interested but daunted on how to get themselves setup with a bit of GameEx goodness. I hope this video helped out those put of by switching or starting a front end Now I know this was basic, maybe not as fluent in the actual setup as some of you pros, but I hope it got many new users on board to join this great Front End. So thank you guys for making this place just as good as the FE it supports! Well now we need to take it to the next stage. I have shown people how to get it setup and get them on the merry road. But now what I need to do is show them what can be done. Show them what a completed GameEx setup can do. Show them how you guys and how they can make it their own. So no better way of doing that than seeing what you guys have come up with. that way it encourages others to push what can be done and maybe bring some new ideas. So if you could help out that will be great. I will be modifying my setup to give it a bit of WOW factor and showcasing it in a vid to show how and what can be done now that you are setup. But i would be great if I can showcase some of your setups too so people can see even more ideas, possibilities and of course just show off your work. If you got any nice builds, custom themes, ideas, remakes or anything that can help out that would be great! I will help out in any way I can to help you do this as I know you all may not have any means to record themes etc. PLEASE can share files, pictures, videos or anything it would be a massive help for me and an even bigger help for the community! Then.... well we are getting stuck into Evolution!

Hey Guys, I am a paid member of the original gameEx. I decided to download and install the Evolution alpha the other day and I am having an issue. Where do you go to setup the folders where your files are?? I have hovered and clicked on everything but am unable to find this. I missed the chance at install to do all these things and I am wondering if I need to re-install. Another question. I have my machine set up with a CRT monitor. I really want to switch to a flat screen due to some incompatability issues with some of the games I would like to put on this thing but I'm worried LCD/Plasma, whatever, will not be able to read the light gun. Is this so? Can I only play light gun games with a CRT? Please help... Thanks, E
