Hi guys, I can't get Sega model 2 emulation to work. When using integrated model 2 support, GameEx launches the emulator (newest emulator version 1.1a) but won't start the specified rom. When checking runitgame.bat I noticed the command line being emulator_multicpu.exe hotd -nocheat -video ddraw This command line is not working outside of GameEx either. When modifying the command line to emulator_multicpu.exe hotd everything works as expected. I checked with different roms in different locations so I'm pretty sure that this is not a rom path or roms issue. I'd appreciate if anybody could give me a push in the right direction on why this isn't working for me. Probably something on my end since I didn't see threads on this. Or, alternatively, is there a way to modify the command line that GameEx generates? Thanks a lot! GameEx.ini log.txt EMULATOR.INI

Hello, I am trying to run a ROM using Model 2 version 1.1a. The ROM seems to load but the screen is black except for some text that says "Sound Initialize..." and it just stays that way until I exit out and then it takes me back to GameEx. Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm attaching my log and ini files after trying to run the ROM.

Model 2 Emulator 1.1a (From Nebula) - Change Window Resolution
MoggFanatic posted a topic in General
Hello, i want to play the Model 2 Emulator 1.1a windowed with a high resolution (1920 x 1080). Does somebody know how to do that? I couldn't find a command or ini setting for that. >The reason is i want to run two linked instances, each on a different screen but in a higher res as the normal window does offer on one pc.So far its running well in low res (no force feedback for 2 wheel :-( ). I also tried to manage fullscreen on two screens but that seems impossible (or with high effort like setting up a virtual machine). Or am i mistaken? Thanks for any input! -
This is an interesting one... any help would be very appreciated! The Model 2 emulator has an ability to run scripts. Someone has written an excellent script to enable lightguns to function better with this emulator. Here is the discussion with the scripts: http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,104484.msg1287623.html#msg1287623 The way it works is that if the scripts are in the emulator's folders, when you pick a game with the Model 2 emulator, the script automatically calls an exe which runs, and then closes when complete. It's perfect... unless used with GameEx. So basically, the game doesn't load because it gets hung up on the exe called in the script. Any ideas how I can make this function? Thanks!

Hello! Just thought I would share this with you all: I've installed it in my cab, and it works flawlessly with the Model 2 Emulator! Big thanks to Darth Marino! LC -
So I got all my mame games, artwork, and everything running in gameEX than i find out that that almost every 3D game runs like crap and so find out about zinc and model 2. I download both of them and then go through the advance gameEX setup which asks you where the exe. is and such for both emulators, but nothing helps the performance whatsoever and it's obviously not working as I don't even have a model 2 or Zinc category listed. I need a tutorial or something as I can't find anything online. As for Daphne if I go through game ex and say "yes" I want to set it up, when i start gameEX it just comes up with an error screen about Daphne and i have to tell gamex "no" I do not wanna configure Daphne. I read online that newer versions of MAME don't need zinc to run the playstation based games and I have the newest version (.147) but it's 32 bit. My system specs are pretty good as well(for a mame box). ANY help would be greatly appreciated! system specs for mame box AMD Athlon xp 2500 1.83 GHZ 2 gigs of DDR2 RAM Nvidia 6800 geforce card
