hi there i seem to have troubles setting top my gameex/ledblinky system. i managed to get it working almost perfectly, but now i'm stuck at 'almost' which kind of drives me crazy. problem is the 'preview layout / control panel' function: it works perfectly on MAME games but not so on other systems (like commodore amiga / c64..): whenever i select a game it shows the correct led colors for the corresponding control panel and then reverts to the color- scheme of the frontend as intended. however, selecting non- MAME games previews all led's as 'off'. starting the game *will correctly load the default layout for that emulator*, so gameex seems to send the correct game/system info to ledblinky when starting a game, but not when previewing it. so, to me, it looks more like a gameex- issue than a ledblinky one, which is the reason why i post here. any help would be greatly appreciated. my system: windows 7 on a 'bootcamped' mac mini, gameex/ledblinky in their newest versions, a control panel with a howler arcade controller (which by the way works perfectly for me but is the reason why i can't use gameex's led- plugin as -in my understanding- it does not support that controller).

I Know to go to advanced emulator setup to the controls section and set the folder for each emulator. but the help section on the side says: A single image file can also be specified to be used for all games. How would i go about doing that? B/C the controls section just leads me to select a folder, not a file..ive created a few layouts. A different one for each system.. im trying to make the sega layout for sega, nes layout for nes and so on. Attached is one file that i created for the nes. Plz help

Hello and good morning/afternoon to all!! The way I have my mame arcade control planel set up is four four players with the first play area on the far left and the fourth play area on the far right. This is what I would like to do: *During the games that call for 1 to 2 players, I would like to have the play areas on the control panel to be layed out as: "3rd Player"------"1st Player"------"2nd Player"------"4th Player" And during the games that call for 3 or 4 players, I would like to have the play areas on the control planel to be layed out as: "1st Player"------"2nd Player"------"3rd Player"------"4th Player" - I am also using a 4 player iPac to set up the control panel. Here is my question --- If this type of configuration is possible, is there any way I can set this up using GameEx, or even through two different versions of MAME? The reasoning behind this is for when there are one or two players playing a game for up to two players, both people playing will be standing centered in front of the arcade machine. When there are four players, of course, it will be spread out a little more evenly. Thank you all in advance for all your help and hard work!! LC
