Hello Folks, I recently tried to connect a Laptop to a TV, via the Intel HD Graphics onboard card of the Laptop. You will need a Adapter like this, for the task: http://arcadeforge.net/UMSA:::15.html It will convert your VGA output to SCART, so you can connect the Laptop to a TV or CRT with SCART. This is no converter which scales the picture or modify it in other ways. You need to have a 15khz Signal on VGA to get it working. I got it working, but with real exotic modelines. modeline '2560x240-15khz-2560x240-15,72kHz-60,0Hz' 48,418 2560 2632 2864 3080 240 246 254 262 -hsync -vsync with a resolution like 2560x240 i get a stretched desktop, but it works if you tell MAME or other Emus to stretch the games. You will earn a perfect picture. It is really a good solution to use the Intel HD Graphics driving a CRT / TV at 15khz . Basically you can use the Intel HD Graphics in a Cab. Normally you can not use the well known solutions like soft15khz or CRT-Emu-Driver (Emu Driver only works with ATI) to get Pixel Perfect Resolutions. With Intel HD Graphics you can only make 5 different custom resolutions. But with these you can get really far . However if I try this resolution with GameEx, it will not start. So I think, it is a problem with these exotic resolutions and wanted to ask here, what the max. possible Resolution is or what could cause the problem??? If anyone is interested in this kind of stuff, feel free to ask. Thx in advance, u-man
