Hi I bought a Steering wheel for the pc the other day at a yard sale for $6. It still works(knew the guy that sold it) but the problem is that it only works on xp or older. Its the V3 Interact sv-280 steering wheel and peddles. Does anyone know how i could get it to work on vista? ( I know vista sucks but its what I have) Thank you for any and all help I can get.

so i started to play 19xx:The war against destiny on MameUI and it was working fine. Then when I went to Game Ex and play it on that it would come up with the "loading 0%" screen then go black and do nothing.This last time it said file not found GameEx.ini log file.txt I'm Sorry.I'm such a idiot!!! I forgot mameUI was gettting roms from a different file then game ex. So i got it all fix..(well most of it just have to work on a select few games but thats it) Thank you to everyone that has helped me cause i know i have been a huge pain to all of you. SO this forum is finally resoveled Thank you again

well i would love to put resolved on it..but i just came upon another problem...all the games run on MAMEUI but only a select few acually work in game ex...I know im just a huge bag of problems from being a newb at this...I promise after this one problem is fix thsi will all be resolved(hopefully) thank you again

Yah I finally got MAME to finally work in game ex!!!!!!!!! Thank you guys so much. Is there a easy way to delete repeat mame roms from your pc or do I have to test each and every rom to do this? Cause im trying to cut back on memory space and when i have 16gigs of just mame roms i need to cut them back some.

So i got mameUI .what do i do with it...I tried putting it into the emulator folder but it doesnt show up on the emulator list on game ex...this problem really is just getting annoying. why does game ex say its a MAME front face if it doesnt come with one that works correctly. I love this front face but if MAME isnt going to work for me its completly useless to me...and i dont want it to be useless i want to enjoy it for yrs to come...if its just going to list all the games in a gaint list not orginzed i might as well go back to use mame plus that i was using( and i HATED using mame plus) Admins I know you work hard and try to emprove this everyday but can you work on have MAME acually work from the get go and not have so much problems that i am having.I dont mean to sound like a ass i just want to use Game ex the way its suppose to and not have to play around with it everytime i turn it on... so im sorry that im coming off as a ass

As cool as it would to have a retro cabinet...1. I dont have that kind of money to buy the cabinet 2. I need something that wont take up much room But when i was checking out one of the sites that someone had mentioned i acually came apond a really nice one that "Knievel Woody". Which is a AMAZING piece of work but it is also the slimmest one i have found from all plans so i think im going to build this...with a few mods to it since i only have the side plans to. http://knievel.webs.com/thewoody.htm I'll also going to look that book up-Project Arcade. i defently think that will help me alot Another thing thou is I was wondering if anyone has done/saw a cabinet were the joystick acually folds into the cabinet itself for storage...cause I already know the women is going to make me put in the closet when not in use so if anyone has ideas on how to do that that would help too. I would love to have the cocktail table blueprints. I had first thought about making one of those.( I watching a show and saw one about 3 months ago and since then ive been wanting a arcade machine)The only problem with the cocktail table is it really is friendly for a lot of Mult-player games...plus i have a x-arcade dual joysticks set up whch is 2 feet long so i would need a stand up machine

Nvr really liked the look of a bar top..plus that means i have to pick it up and put it away everrytime i want to use it...hey if it was my choose i would have a full size arcade but the fience would have my head

Im looking to build a MAME Cabinet. My biggest problem right now is that i live in a aptment and there isnt alot of room. I have looked all ovver the internet for blue prints to make a stand up MAME cabinet but my problem is that there all so big. I want one that is the height of a normal arcade machine but not as wide(from the wall) Does any one no of a looking Cabinet that is skinny. The machine also needs to be able to hold the x-arcade dual controller.

Idk about the sleep.exe... what is it suppose to be set on. Thats just what it was set on when i installed it...so i put those 3 files in data and set location for them but still nothing is showing up under mame...when i press update list nothing shows up but "play this game" but i cant acually press it thou.Any more ideas? I really want to get this all figured out so i can start building my arcade cabinet .

I just resintly downlaod Game ex front end about 2 weeks ago now...I also bought the full verison cause I really like what I saw. Most defently the filtering proccess the my favorite part of this front end prgram but for the past 4 days i have been tring to get my MAME emulator to filter all the games into catorgies but nothing has work.I have spent many hrs already tring to figure out this problem on my own but nothing has worked I even tried uninstalling game ex and start all over and still nothing. Ive played around on the MAME configuration page but still nothing. I did try to do my research on this problem but im still having this problem. So if someone could help me on this it will drive me from pulling all my hair out in stress. Thank you PS..I think this is the right file that was asked for when having a problem on the "how to ask for help thread" GameEx.ini
