Hi Tom It looks like you have used GS for processing PDF manuals, configured it in a set way and then packaged it back up for use with GameEx. I'm sure it works for most users, but I have found a bit of a problem. After doing a bit more work setting up my media PC with GameEX I tried to setup manuals. I did allot of searching on these forums (is there no manual for getting manuals to work? ;-) ) I downloaded the offlinelinegamemanualinstall.exe I then got a BSOD and failed to boot. So I booted up the PC in safemode, looked at the regestry files that the installation registered. The problem was that the system drive is defined a C: rather than %system drive% and my PC does not have the system drive as C:. So I changed the font location in RegEdit and the PC then booted. This is handy because the uninstall process involves pointing it to the install log file, and the only one I have is the one that is for your PC. However GS still does not work correctly. When I run it from the command line with the parameter -h it tells me that some of the search paths are C:/gs.... c:\gs is not contained within the registry. I don't know if this is why I still can not use GS either naively or via GameEx. Any ideas? I'm happy to install GS (native), but would need to know what to do to get it working from GameEx. OR if you know what I need to do to tweek my current install that would be great. Thanks in advance
