Can I install the XP version over the top of the 18.09 version like I can with updates, or do I have to redo all of my work on the xp version?

OS is Win 7 64 bit.

Installed 18.09 and the problem still persists.

I have been upgrading an old system I built years ago. For the most part the upgrade was smooth, except now, the random game function no longer works. It used to select a game and immediately start playing it, but now it appears to pick the same emulator profile and just enter the directory, never selecting any of the games in said profile. Sometimes it would just crash GameEx outright. I wasn't sure what files I needed to attach so I just got these ones.SetupWizard.loglog.txtGameEx.iniCrash Message.txt

OK I see that now. Thanks a bunch. I guess we can call this resolved now.

OK so I uninstalled GameEx, downloaded the latest version, and reinstalled it. The problem is gone, but now the plugin manager seems to have not installed itself.

I used the batch files because the problem was occurring when I was using the plugin as well. I will disable the batch files and the plugin to see if the problem persists.

Is it possible for me to try using older versions of the xpadder plugin and see if those will solve my issue? Also, in the setup wizard, if I enable the controllers, they use their own buttons (of course i would have to set them) dont even recognize the xpadder plugin. but the real issue is that its all 3 (2 guitars and the Cthulhu board, being used as 2 dance pads) will run, even if i tell the wizard to only use the guitars. i cant have people selecting stuff on the menu with the dace pads

When the "xpadder error" i posted happens, it happens after exiting a game. sorry I didn't mention about the focus stealing. but yeah thats what I meant about xpadder error messages.

Where can I find the .ini for XPadder the errors pop up when i try to go to the menu from the game. It steals away all function. also I'm sure I have the right settings for the menu.
