  1. Thats because you mentioned it was a SNES rom, the update list feature you are doing is for MAME, not snes, snes emu will have to be setup separate, and you go into it by going to EMULATED GAMES from the front menu, then if you setup your snes emu correctly, the snes section will be listed there, you go inside it, and you then will find your rom. PS. MAME is for Arcade Games, for your snes rom you will need to install a snes emulator, for example snes9x or zsnes
  2. That would be nice, as i'm working with a 720x480 res, and although i can fit the database in, it leaves my pictures little room, so I just take out the databases all together in the theme.
  3. I think a Marquee gallery view would also be nice for mame, Like all the marquee no other text, just the pic, and you scroll down in list view though the marquee I was thinking also for other emulators though, say for example the Genesis, you have this Gallery View of just all the screenshots, and the name can appear up top when you are on a selected game, but other then that, it just all the pics laid out across the screen. I guess pretty much like a photo gallery
  4. sometimes with even some good filters setup, you are going to end up with identical names with brackets removed, and in somes cases you actually want both versions, but if you keep brackets removed on, it makes it hard to see what is going on, which version is which, adding a new feature that i mentioned before of a Smart Remove Brackets, it would be great for gameex to not remove brackets from those games that would end up having identical rom names to another file if they were removed, but still go ahead and remove brackets from all other games. Doing the filtering and keeping brackets on right now is good enough, but sure would love a feature that did that, to make the gaming list look alot better.
  5. This happens to me also, this must be a bug due to the new feature that was added, I do love the new feature though, so hope its keeped, and just the bug fixed.
  6. Well yeah so do i currently, but that kinda makes the feature to turn it on and remove brackets pointless if everybody will just leave it off because it doesn't care if the name is identical to another, leaving what looks to be duplicates but really different games. I would love to turn on the feature to remove them if it would just not remove from the games that have exactly identical names with brackets taken away. Would make the list look really nice, especially to get rid of those (USA 353432). Those look ugly Maybe i'm just picky ;P but I do think doing a Smart Version of the No Brackets feature would really add to this.
  7. Would be nice to have a Smart NO BRACKET's, So that say it takes the brackets off everything that doesn't have an exact name. For example, say 1942 (Playchoice-10) and 1942 (set 1) those 2 games will end up just saying 1942... so it makes it look weird and like there are doubles and hard to see which is which. But if there was a little smart checking before removing the brackets on included sets, it would not filter out those brackets on those sets that have exact names with no brackets, But still removes brackets out of everything else. would make the list look alot better.
