That was KINDA what I wanted to do but keeping the keg cool was a problem. I'm not normally a room temp beer guy. Actually if your cabinet was wide enough or deep enough you could incorporate the right size dorm fridge in the base and run the tap out like that...

This was before I built the keezer. It would have to be VERY frost free otherwise the condesation alone would jack the components. My current rig holds 6 kegs, a CO2 tank and a Beer Gas tank but it gets might wet in there (built from an old deep freeze). I tiled the coffin box and added a couple more taps last night. Still need to grout and stain it but it's coming along. Beer can't talk like arcades though. But it can be more fun to talk about arcade games with beer!

I was SERIOUSLY tempted to install a beer tap in the side of my cabinet. I just couldn't get over the fear that it would leak and destroy everything... But I guess that's neither here or there.

Well, I went thru the dang config file and changed everything to the proper drive and that stopped the error. Unfortunately it seems to have aggravated the problem where it goes to attract/screen saver mode the client would just be a black screen when any key was pressed. I decided to just unistall and reinstall. I'll need to reset it all up now but...

That'll be my next step. I scoured the registry for anything referring to the old drive last night. It's not a HUGE issue but it's kinda irksome.

The drive switch thing definitely applies to me. Anyone have any ideas that aren't nuclear? If that's what has to happen I guess it has to happen but...

For some reason everytime I start GameEx it thinks I need to update. Even if it's coming back up right after it updated. I Just installed it again straight from the DL section and it still thinks it needs to update. Any ideas? Log text:

Side art tends to be pretty steep. Can range from 50 for the smaller stuff to a couple hundred for the bigger ones that cover the entirety of the side of the cab. Maybe another 100 for the bezel and control panel combined (depending on size). That's dollars of course.

That was my problem when I was beating my head against the tag. I saw multiple links and didn't read carefully enough to realize one of them was the reg key that made the tag talk to the server.

Even from DOS I've only ever gotten it to run Dragon's Lair. Not the 2nd one and none of the other games. It's a bear, that's for sure.

It's weird. Start button is gone for one thing. I haven't had a TON of time to play with it yet but it's definitely user friendly. There are some differences though. As for me having to reinstall I had just upgraded my system board and for whatever reason that always requires that I reinstall windows and then all the programs so... It's designed to work very well with touch screens which could be nice.

Ahhh, rookie mistakes. I still make em. Took me a long time to realize GameEx doesn't actually control the games. Good rule of thumb is do all your testing of any emulator from the dos box before loading it in GameEx. If it works in DOS then it should work in GameEx. And if it doesn't then you know where to come for help One of these days I'll figure out how to get DAPHNE to work...
