  1. Thaught I'd add that on my Sempron 2400+, 512MB Ram, XP- there is no slowdown on 3.45 All my resources are zipped and I am a bit reluctant to unzip them.. My vote is to keep the handling as it was in 3.45! Steve McD.
  2. Hi! Thanks for your reply. I have just built the PC and all the "motherboard" and related drivers are as supplied by the manfucturer.. I know those cd's quickly go out of date so will track down the most recent versions and report back. The only thing I had time to do so far was update the system bios version! Regards, Steve McD.
  3. Hello. This is my first posting! First let me say that I have been running Mame32 for years on my PC. Lately I needed software for my cab (Pictures coming soon!) and spent ages trying out different front ends. Whilst a few were ok if you were running DOS, 98 etc., I made a decision to go wireless for maintenance, upped the pc spec a lot and installed XP! More hunting! Then I discovered GameEx - incredible! It was exactly what I needed. Congratulations to the author (if you read this!). I have 1 problem however, when it is playing MP3 tunes - it sometimes stalls and "loops" the sound for a few seconds say 5 then continues.. During this time there is no video freeze - just the audio loops.. The effect is something like the Paul Hardcastle "19" scratching 80's effects... My question is .. is this a "feature" or a bug or something wrong with my sound setup... Motherboard sound otherwise ok and running GameEx 3.45 Sempron 2400+, Nvidea GeForce 5200, 256MB Ram ?? Anyone? Thanks. Steve McD.
