  1. I also got a problem of global exit I had trouble to disable. It was not specific to Mame but I could not disable "Global escape Key combo". To fix that i had to edit the [mapping off] files (from "./Gameex/Config/Emulators/") that were associated to my emulators and set the field MapGamePadExit to False. I don't know if it is of any help for your issue.
  2. Thank you so much Headkaze. I just tried and now the plugin seems to work again.
  3. yeah , I found it strange that no one seems to have encounter the same issue. It is also not that easy to spot as most games will still work properly if the stick stays in analog. The plugin version hasn't changed that is why I don't really think it is the plugin itself. So that points either to my configuration or possibly a change to gameex. I am also doing a leap of version, so it may not be from the last version.
  4. I didn't mean to be pushy or anything and I know the author's have priorities other than answering right away to my issues. I just noticed that my steam games that were detected before were still there on 13.21 version of GameEx with latest steam. That is why I was thinking there was maybe a way to add games "manually" and that someone here may have a better understanding on steam integration than me. Is there isn't that's fine, and I will set up my steam games as any emulators in the meawhile. BTW I am just trying to add Nidhogg and Samurai Gunn to Gameex. If you havent had a chance to try them, give it a try, they are really good arcade games.
  5. Sorry if I am not very patient, but i am feeling a bit lonely here (which is a bit unusual so I guess everybody is working on the new gameex). In the meantime, is there a workaround to add/force steam games manualy on older version. I tried modifying steamconfig.ini, the steam map file, but no success. Is there a way to do it ? Thanks
  6. Thanks for the answer. I'll wait for an answer regarding my errors.
  7. I also still have the bug I experienced before (http://www.gameex.info/forums/topic/12521-resolved-plugins-and-steam/?p=100770) where on the wizard "launch before" and "launch on exit" are empty, even if they have values in my Gameex.ini file. Is there a way to keep my version 12.98 and being able to add steam games (it seems there was some change and it requires 13.21 to see steam games now) ?
  8. Hello, I just updated from 12.98 to the lastest version 13.21, and my ultrastik plugin doesn't work anymore. The ultrastick profiles dont load (in Gameex or in Games). The plugin doesn't log anything. THere is also an error in Gameex log concerning the plugin that i didn't have before. Can someone help me ?? log.txt GameEx.ini PlugInUltraStik.ini
  9. I've always had an error when launching nulldc with the option LoadDefaultImage=1 (it crashes). I think It is required to load an image with the command line, so leave it at 1. Everything else looks very similar to my configs. I would just avoid the apostrophe in a folder name (C:\Program Files\GameEx\Roms\Sega Dreamcast\Dreamcast ISO's). Other than that i dont see anything strange.
  10. Actually i just modified every [mapping off] files in the folder (there are 11 of them) and didn't have to change anything in the emulators config. As i said the annoying part is that every update thoses files are reset. So i backed up the modified [mapping off] somewhere. If there is another way around that (in the wizard, etc.) I also would like to know it.
  11. I was able to reproduce it constantly with up-left+button1+button2+button3. I think that is the default exit combo.
  12. I also got this problem. I disabled the "Global escape Key combo" in the wizard but that was only working on mame and not my other emulators (the combination was up-left and 3 buttons and it was triggered during button mashups). To fix that i had to edit the [mapping off] files (from "./Gameex/Config/Emulators/") that were associated to my emulators and set the field MapGamePadExit to False. There is probably a cleaner way to do it but that worked. Those files will be overwritten if you update gameex.
  13. I dont know how I missed that. Thanks a lot, it works very well now. Now i'll wait for a version with specific game settings for steam (I dont need it now but i like having the option ).
  14. On the version 13.02, the setting "launch before", "Launch after" were set up (from before the update and i could see it in the gameex.ini file) but the wizard was showing them as empty. When i was trying to change them in the wizard, it would not change anything in the gameex.ini file and it would appear empty the next time i would launch the wizard. The games were running OK and it was launching the "launch before" and "Launch after" options from the gameexi.ini but i could not change it in the wizard (showing them as empty).I rolled back to 12.98 and everything was working fine again. I don't know where that problem came from, but i do know that my 12.98 version is working fine because it set up everything from scratch on this version. Last update to 13.01/13.02 was a bit painfull with this happening and gameex not launching at all at first (tom fixed it since). Thats why now I am a little bit more careful before updating.
  15. Here I attached my Xpadder configuration. I kept the version 12.98 because I couldn't change steam settings (in the wizard) on the version 13.02, I will try to update later to 13.04 but i dont think it will help. Xpadder.zip
