  1. Neat little trick, thanks Tom! Worked. I wonder why clearing my cache didnt really fix it....never mind it worked!!
  2. This has happened to me before and its wierd. I go to the download page and all it has is the old 3.70 version. Even after deleting the cache and refreshing Firefox it still says 3.70. If I click on the link for the homepage I then see that its 4.01 but when I clcik on that it takes me to the download page which still says 3.70 Aaaargh!! Anyone have url for the download please?
  3. I myself used Kawaks to alter the screen size of Metal Slug 3 and after that it worked ok in MAME/GameEx. Not sure on how to do it within MAME or GameEX

I use PC Magic Box USB from Lik-Sang, it can use PS2 (dual shock) Saturn or Dreamcast controllers. In older versions of Project64 I couldnt use the right analogue but since P64 got updated it responds to both analogues now making it much easier to use it for N64 stuff, Im loving it.
  5. Yes Im going to stick with default, they seem to be much better since last upgrade, just the odd stutter and freeze up but nothing to worry about, after all its only emulation. N64 is working fine now with new P64, strangely enough I never edited my config for GameEx, must have been something screwy somewhere between P64 1.5 and GameEx 3.47...thanks tho!
  6. Wow indeed, I was only playing with P64 earlier on its own and I still get a lot of stuttering with Goldeneye and Mario Kart 64, but now for some reason its practically gone, only a little bit here and there, negligable. I dunno what they done but I like it. Just gotta see it working with GameEx now and Ill be truly happy. BTW what plugins do you use for Project64, Im just using defaults, but if theres any tips Id appreciate em.
  7. Ok feeback time from me now I finally got 3.48 :-) Loving the majority of Game Ex, its running so fine and my machine is 4 years old with no real upgrades. P4 1.8Ghz 512 Rambus GeForce 4 Ti4600 The Jukebox, pretty funky but the ability to simply double click and play that song would be nice as opposed to it being added to the current play list, or even single lick for that matter. Video, when I choose a music video to play it plays fine, but simply repeats itself, I thought it would be like the Jukebox where it could randomly play another from my list. Also when I return to the video menu the video I was watching is still playing (which is good) but if my cursor moves to another in the list it stops and shows a new background, if the video could keep playing perhaps until I 'liked' another one thatd be sweet. Not finding anymore problems right now, all is cool. Keep it up. Oh, my fave list isnt updating (or saving) either, still stuck with the first 3 favs I choose back in 3.45.
  8. Were ARE YOU getting it from, the download link still says 3.45 and Im not likely to click on that, unless its a typo and the download is actually 3.48. EDIT: right, just for a giggle I clicked on the German flag at the top of the page and guess what, it said 3.48 for download, so Im guessing my page in English which still says 3.45 may have taken me to the same file as it has the same name gameexsetup.exe All is well.
  9. Hang on clearing my cache let me see the 'NEWS' that 3.48 is available but the Downloads section still shows 3.45. Cache is cleared, so what now? Same problem in both IE and Firefox.
  10. Hehe and I just upgraded to 3.47, lol, oh well here comes 3.48. I did notice on 3.47 that my fav lists had no saved again. Ill let you know how this new one goes. Thanks as always. EDIT Do you have a link Tom? Website still has 3.45 available and Google shows nothing yet.
  11. Awesome thanks Tom, Ill check it out. Im lovin it btw!
  12. All my art is in files anyway so thats cool. But will I be ok just upgrading to 3.47 or will I have to go through the whole setup process again with all my settings.
  13. Ah my apologies, a little Googling and I think I have the problem of the dat file fixed, lets see if its the reason for it crashing out. Will I need any specific tweaks or settings to be done to P64 itself that may help? EDIT: Oh well, the n64_OL.zip didnt stop the crashing out, so Im baffled for the time being. Any idea what might cause it? And what does GameEx want with the Offline dat for anyway, i never noticed any difference when I viewd my N64 Game list, no screenshots or anything, even tho the Offline program shows the details and pics.
  14. Jedah I too use Project 64 and it runs brilliantly on its own but when I use it with GameEx it just has that dull thud sound effect and says it has to shut down, wierd. Im using the exact same set up as yourself (albeit in my own directories of course. The only thing I dont have is OLDatZip=C:\Program Files\OfflineList0.7\datas\n64_OL.zip where do I get this OLDatZip for the n64. My MAME and GBA emus work 100% with GameEx and Im very happy apart from this one problem.
  15. Awesome, its working fine now thanks. Aww Ill be on Arkanoid all night now, its 1987 all over again!
