Sorry for not replying earlier. I found out that after I had to install everything from scratch, I chose the wrong emulators (including MAME) i had on another location on the pc. Everything is working fine now 🙂 I will try to investigate a little bit and see if i can see whats the difference between the .ini files and the log.txt, and report back 🙂👍

I would prefer to fix the primary issue (intergrated) 🙂

Hi all 🙂 Had some issues with the "built in MAME setting", regarding my favorites list of games not being detected, and GameEx had to update list each time i started MAME. So I went into .ini file and chose to "hide" the MAME (Arcade games) button/icon, and instead I chose MAME from the emulator selection settings (where you add all the different emulators). This worked out great in terms of games showing up when launching MAME, but now the Global Escape button wont work so i cant exit when a game has loaded in MAME. The Global Escape is working on all the other emulators but not MAME. Do someone here have any idea why this is happening?

Hi 🙂 Know its been asked about earlier by me and another one, here on the forum. At that time it was not possible to disable/hide the "genres" in main menu of the gameex arcade edition. But I read now that later on in was implemented in a newer release. I have installed the latest release but I still cant find that option in the wizard. Is it located in a .ini file? Or was that added option removed later on?

Hi 🙂 I have made an emulator group consisting of all the the lightgun games I have on the different emulators. Its working great and inside that group the video snaps of each game is working but in the main screen of gameex and hovering over that group/icon, it's not showing the video snaps of a random game in that group? 🤔 I tried in the gameex config wizard to see if there is an option for videosnaps of an emulator group but I cant see that option. Is there something im missing, or do i need to add some code inside a config file to make it work? All help is greatly appreciated 🙂

You where right about it not working when adding MAME from the emulator list. Changed to the intergrated MAME, made the adjustments there and edited the HallOfFame list to only list the games I have, and it works great 🙂 It also works if I use the: only favorites option. Though I'm not sure if it gives same result as Draco1962 describes if the HallOfFame file is not edited, as I did not keep the original text file. 🤔🙃

Hi 🙂 I'm having some difficulties getting the atrract mode to work. It launches but returns to the menu after a couple of seconds. Not sure what is happening and why. EDIT: It seems that the reason why attract mode is shutting down is because it tries to launch a game i dont have, as I can see in the log file. I tried to change the MAME Hall Of Fame file list to only list the games I have, but still it tries to load a missing game. Is there another HallOfFame list I'm missing??? GameEx.ini log.txt
