Hello, sorry its not a difficulty, just a tune up and I found the difference really was between theme designs. After experimenting for a long time, I realised that only a theme with no transitions can get the menus to be instant. Its fine as it is, would just be better being instant. There would be nothing to see in the logs since there is no delay / lag or problem with the speed that gameex is currently running. Thankyou

Well the theme changes do make a difference, since the words flying off screen are faster and there is no page fading in the Vahalla theme. So I suppose the only real way around this would be to create a theme myself which doesnt have page changes or fades or words flying around the screen, but just changes the list items to the correct menu instantly. But yes thats the thing which I really wanted to do, as you said "Turn off all transitions" (Its not taking any less time than it should be for the transitions to work and be seen), which is why I didn't want to waste your time kindly reading through my log ^^) Thanks a lot for suggestions, and GameEx would be perfect in my eyes if we could just have this 1 feature or a default theme which is without menu transitions at all, and directly to the info you want to see. Really hope this could be a future feature as the reason I wanted to choose gameex over hyperspin is its cusomisable and user friendly with your great wizard.

sorry its hard to explain ^^ it is 2d. OK let me write the situation like this: The menu is Instant in its transition, but when you choose to goto a new menu, instead of it "Popping" / "Snapping" / Instantly to the next menu... The words on the screen fly off in different directions, and on the next screen, the words come back sliding in again. (That is what is specifically taking the time) I can export the game ini file, but Im 99% sure unless there is a specific setting to stop the way the menu transitions to the next one, it is either A. not possible as this is how GameEx transitions or B. theme related It can't be any faster really, being told that the words need to slide off the screen before transitioning to the next menu. Im using theme Default Media Center V1 hmmm Ill try some different themes and get back to you. Thanks Chaps

Thanks for the reply! It's not so much of a problem, but I would just prefer when you click next menu, that it takes you directly to the next menu (0.001) of a second (Or as fast as possible) Is there any option to just make instant menu transitions please? Ive gone through every single attribute in custom settings possible. I have a sneaking suspicion this is not possible perhaps at all ? Thanks again

Not any menu specifically, but all menu's in GameEx do this slow fade blend to the next screen. I don't worry about the speed of my machine, that's not the problem, Im just trying to figure out a way in which when you click for example (In my custom menus) Games > The next menu it takes you to is a list of the emulators. This takes about 3seconds to load every time, and I really don't want blending or anything fancy... Just a list, straight to the point of having a menu. (To save time finding games amongst my collection) So is there anyone with a genious answer as how to make menu's go from one to the next (and back with right mouse) without any transitions, just instant goto menu please? Hey HeadKaze, I followed your instructions to edit the config of the WHD file to get the mouse working... The mouse now works fine, but the winUaeLoader program no longer opens games directly anymore Instead it just opens the winUae program now ?

Hello, Ive been told to get the SPS Plugin by WinUae because my zipped IPF disk images wont work without it. I goto the site and download CAPSImg_x64.dll file (No idea what im doing at this point) and it tells me to drop it in the WinUae main direcetory. I do as im told and try putting a game into the DiskDrive within WinUae and it still asks for the SPS plugin? Any help REALLY appreciated plesae No idea where to go from here ... Thankyou
