Hiya, i've recently got back into Game Ex and have purchased lifetime access, 1.to help the development and 2.I liked the idea of karaoke on it, i've managed to get through most of the emulator set ups without issue but this Karaoke is really annoying me as it seems it should be simple. Files show up, preview shows up, click the file and goes black then comes back to menu, i've read a few threads including this one What are karaoke modules? i installed Game Ex then upgraded and used code to activate, don't remember any option and wondered if this is anything to do with it? also the thread i've pasted a link to, i'm unsure on re-installing as i've done a good solid few weeks of tweaking all my emulators and such. advice welcome ta

havent even started setting this up..just thought id get round to it at somepoint...but i have little knowledge about it. games that were on laserdisc? so are any worth getting? is there many games? seems any reference i find is always about Dragon's Lair.. dont know whats the fuss if there is only 1 game that people think is good? anyways I never had a lazer disc but want my Game Ex fully kitted out so I thought id find out what the history or compatiblity of the emulator is...i guess the roms are massive??

ta... seems to be a bit strange thou. example...Beetle Adventure Racing! i've put as simply 'racing' yet it comes under action, adventure, racing!! also some racing games are under sport etc... basically it all goes tits up. confusing

I have the same problem, my file extensions are *.jag and you select a rom in gameex and it opens up the emulator but just sits their waiting for you to open up the game, everything works ok, just wont auto play the game?? were any solutions found? apparantly you have to use an earlier version.. 0.82 took a while to find but I got it from here - http://www.consolemul.com/detailnews.php?id=3939 still cant get it to work...i shall persist! when i select a rom i just getting a black screen for a few seconds then back to game menu in game ex

I'm having a problem trying to play my master system games, to my knowledge I had it all working at somepoint so don't know whats gone wrong! When I click on a game in the list it comes up saying Path C:\Documents does not Exist I'm sure this must be something really easy im missing.. it all works fine on its own. (oh and first it comes up with that dos screen saying 'press any key to continue... can i get rid of that? bit annoying always having to press a key) I'm using FreezeSMS 4.6 ROM PATH: C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\Emulators\Games\Master System WORKING PATH: C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\Emulators\Emulators Data\Master System - FreezeSMS 4.6 COMMAND LINE: FreezeSMS.exe [ROMPath]\[RomFile] ta muchly!

sick of the million and one categories... can i delete/change some to sports, shoot-em-up, blah blah... or are we stuck with what we are given? this applies to most emulators...but mame is the biggest culprit. fighter 2d fighter / verses fighter / verses co-op maze/ fighter errr no.. i just want fighting games altogether!

well im not sure what part of this did it...but it did it! thanks i choose fullscreen in pj64, changed desktop to 16 and put yes for showdesktop. wooooo! dont understand.....but woooooo!

I have now installed the newer Project 64 but same probs.. Working Path: C:\Emulators\Emulators Data\N64 - Project64 1.6 Rom Path: C:\Emulators\Games\N64 Debug Mode: No Command Line: Project64.exe [ROMPath]\[RomFile] if i need to post any other info let me know... dont know how to export the config so have had to type stuff out (yawn!)

Works fine on its own..but through GameEX I get this error coming up: Graphics Error Direct 3D failed to initialize your HAL device make sure you have a properly configured 3D Graphics Card compatible with Direct 3D 6.0 Then followed by this one: The default or selected video plugin is missing or invalid. Check that you have at least one compatible plugin file in your plugin folder any help apprieciated!

Ok i wont lose any sleep if i cant get this working...but when i click on a game i get the following error messege using mekaw071 emulator. i've got the right path for the roms and given them the *.rom for a filter... but it doesnt seem to want to locate the games. prob a very easy one and not really that much hassle..just annoys me pressing any key each time i start a game. using zsnes... when i select a game in game-ex a dos screen comes up and says the path of the emulator but i have also seen it says PAUSE at the end of it.. im guessing this is why it asks for confirmation of any key to continue.. how can i stop this so i can get into games without having to press another key. ta

was thinking exactly the same... would like to know how many versions cross platform of games i have... so i can pick the best on each emulator and delete the others.

same as me... clicked game in the menu on game ex and just got an error messege about the rom.. just fiddling with it now trying to figure whats going on.......and yeah the audio sounds like the intro to 'how soon is now' by the smiths over and over
