  1. That's my portable MAME machine. Here's a pic of it running GameEx.
  2. Hey everybody, it's been awhile since I've posted. I just got my MAME machine working after a stint of poverty and just general being too busy. Now that I have it up and running, I loaded up GameEx. Wow, it's really become a very powerful piece of software. One new feature I like is the ability to continue playing music during MAME games. My question is, would there be a way to toggle between having the jukebox play instead of MAME audio and having MAME audio on without going into the configuration program? I mean, within GameEx? I appreciate any help.
  3. It's giving me no love. I don't know why, I followed the instructions and replaced the file and I get nuthin'. I'll give you another try and keep you updated.
  4. I actually had a similar problem, but I just ended up increasing the size of the text in the config utility and it works nicely.
  5. Nevermind...already figured it out. While we're at it, anybody using BGB? Everytime I launch it, I get a DOS box asking me to press any key to continue...any way around this?
  6. Hey guys, I'm having a tad bit of trouble with Fusion (Genesis/32/Gamegear emulator). When I launch fusion the first time, I hear the audio but no video. So I exit and relaunch from GameEx, it works. This is leading me to think it's getting stuck behind HideOS. Right now I can't post my config, the inflicted machine is downstairs. But until I can post the config, do you have any ideas? Thanks.
  7. Nope, point it to daphne. The config that comes with GameEx pretty much takes the rest over.
  8. 7zip support! Real quick question, does GameEx show all the files within the goodmerged set or just the best?
  9. Man, that's so badass. Thanks amos, GameEx is a better frontend with you as a supporter.
  10. Thanks Vynce, I did not know that.
  11. I agree with this one. Maybe even a little app that just generates the text file that gameex reads. If I knew a damn thing about programming, I'd make one myself. Unfortunately I'm an idiot when it comes to stuff like that. I think it would be cool to have an option of deleting games from the list, directly from the frontend. That way, you could test/find nonworking games and delete them without exiting gameex.
  12. You just made my day, amos. There's no rush, life comes before arcade machines...although I question that sometimes...
  13. Could you post your log? I'm sure it'd help Tom and the rest of us figure it out for you.
  14. Pretty pretty please, I think the screen of the red you provided looked frigging awesome! The only thing that looked dodgy is the green GameEx icon at the top, maybe if you provided me with your theme I could play with that, or is that uneditable?
  15. There are very few decent N64 emulators at all. I'd say use Project 64. It has the best compatibility with the fewest bugs, but the emulation is still far from perfect. It also has plug-in capabilities so people can use the best plugins for their particular system.
