I've got a problem where most of the time I try to launch retroarch games (NES or SNES games) GameEx looks like it's starting the rom (screen goes black, select sound plays, etc) but it just sits there never starting retroarch. I can get it to run some of the time, but can't figure out what allows me to do so. This last run SNES games ran, but NES did not.
When it does the black screen of death, I noticed that the runitgame.bat file is not getting created/run. I've attached the files as they were when the system black screened (had to ctrl+alt+delete the system to kill GameEx). It has the correct command for the LAST run game, not the one I selected.
If I manually run the command from the setup replacing the [rom] stuff with the correct files, it loads fine, so I doubt it's the retroarch setup.
Note retroarch_runner.exe is a python script I wrote to do light control for the system. I've tried it directly pointing at the retroarch.exe as well as the runner with the exact same effect.
GameEx Arcade Version: 17.2
Retroarch Version: 1.9.2
Attached are the log files, the GameEx.ini file, the log file, as well as the runitgame.bat file.
Thanks for the help
