Hi guys,, i've been meaning to respond, and just haven't had a chance.. thank you for all your help! I found what i needed to disable the escape key thanks again everyone! GameEx is Awesome!

thanks, i will give that a try, however, i have been through alot of those options, and i don't recall seeing one for Map Escape... i thought i was running the latest version,, maybe not. would the new beta version possibly have this option?

Hello, everyone, Firstly, i'd like to say thank you to the developers of GameEx. This front end was exactly what i've been looking for, as a side project. I suppose this has been asked before, but my only issue is that when i'm playing a game, say, with the commodore 64 emulator, ( i'm using ccs64), sometimes i need to go into my menu options, and the only way i can back out of the menus is to press the escape key. well, as soon as i press the escape key, it takes me out of my c64, and brings me back to the GameEx menu. So, i assumed it has something to do with the mapping, or key configurations, but i've looked through all the configurations, and have tried to change some settings, and i just can't seem to disable this escape key, or even change it to a different key. Have other people been having this problem? can anyone tell me where in the menu i need to change a setting? thanks much for your help! I should clarify, that i have tried some different key mappings and looked at the custom configuration .ini files, and the settings don't seem to make a difference. every time i press escape, the emulators close out and it takes me back to the gamex menu
