  1. Thank you for the speedy reply. Solved: As I suspected, it was something that I caused accidentally. It turns out that I had turned off the option to show "Update List" in the MAME category, and due to that, it completely slipped my mind that the option was even there. Silly mistake. The reasoning for disabling that option, as well as many other administrative or management settings, is because the cabinet is going to be used as a free play machine at public gaming/anime conventions soon and I didn't want someone to have access to those tools or features. Thank you again for the help, much appreciated!
  2. Quick preface: New to the software, running in a custom cabinet, loving it so far. I've setup multiple console/handheld emulators and got them working perfectly. MAME gave me some issue but got it resolved reading existing help topics here and now it runs beautifully. However I'm experiencing a slight problem that is very likely user error on my end. Not all of my working/available MAME ROMs are being listed in the GameEx menu even though they work and appear in the MAME software outside of the GameEx UI. Take for example, Bubble Bobble. The ROM is in .zip format in the appropriate folder that MAME prefers, the software sees and acknowledges the game is available and working, and the game plays without a flaw. It is only when coming back over to the GameEx UI that the game is not itemizing in the list. There are other working ROMs listed in the MAME section and they run great, but like the Bubble Bobble example, there are a lot of missing games that I know exist and work that are omitted from the list. Steps I have attempted so far: Verify ROMs set to 'No'. 'Only Existing ROMs' I've tried both Yes and No. 'Only Existing Games' I've tried both Yes and No. I did not rename any of the ROM files from their original names. I am using the latest MAME 0.235. I set up MAME using the "Setup MAME?" option in the config tool and did not use "Emulator Selection". Any help would be appreciated getting those 'missing' ROMs to appear in the UI and I'm hoping I just made a simple mistake in setup somewhere. Any other needed details just ask, I'd be happy to provide it.
