  1. I see . . . instead of making Pinnacle conform to each MAME game, make each MAME game conform to a standard MAME Pinnacle profile.
  2. Just wondering if anyone here uses Pinnacle game profiler software to allow a game controller to control MAME games instead of a keyboard. I know GameEx has some built-in support for keymapping, etc., but I'm using Pinnacle to play my PC Games that do not natively support an XBox 360 wireless controller, and it works perfectly. My only issue/question is: how to get an individual Pinnacle game profile for a specific MAME game. Pinnacle auto-launches a specific profile when it "sees" the executable file of a PC game run. However, MAME games do not have an executable, and I don't want the same Pinnacle profile for ALL of the MAME games; I'd like to individualize for each game. Any idea how to do this? Anyone already done this?
  3. I don't think I'm running them in debug mode . . . at least not on purpose. I thought it might be b/c sometimes when I start a PC game, I get a message screen that says something like "It appears you computer configuration has changed since the last time you played this game, would you like to update . . . . " then there are two choices "OK" and "Cancel"
  4. Nobody has any ideas?
  5. I'll admit I'm a newbie. I don't yet fully comprehend all of the functionality of this software . . . my estimation is that it is very powerful, and is limited only by my own imigination/efforts/time in setting it all up. I'm trying to learn, but I could use some help from anyone in the know. I'm trying to find the best way to launch PC Games (like Call of Duty 4, etc from within GameEx). I read and followed the tutorial called "Setting up PC Games" exactly. However, it mentions that this is only one solution. After following this guide/tutorial, it works, but there are a few issues/glitches I hope someone can assist with. My setup: I use GameJackal to launch PC games without the CD/DVD disc. My GameJackal shortcuts link to GameJackal profiles which autolaunch the game itself without the disc, so my folder of shortcuts are GameJackal shortcuts. The issue: when I press "Play this Game" from within GameEx . . . I see a brief black screen followed by a return to normal windows desktop . . . . followed by the autolaunching of GameJackal . . . then a DOS screen asking me to "press any key" . . . . which when I do . . . launches the game as it should . . . when I exit the game . . . .I'm returned to Windows desktop. My desire: to not "see" the windows desktop but rather a black screen or a short video or anything but the images of what's happening in the background. To automatically "press any key" and I'm not sure why I need to do that. And finally, to be returned to the GameEx environment . . .not windows desktop. Problem: I dont' know how to achieve my above desire. I've tried playing with the black screen versus show windows . . . doesn't matter. Any thoughts?
