  1. That did not help. Nvidia gpu. Turning variable refresh rate on and off (on in the monitor menu) disables sound, even in menus.
  2. I have a theory. This worked previously on my 240hz screen. But not on my new 240hz screen. Difference here is resolution. My new screen is higher res. Maybe the screen would work again if I set my screen to 1080@240hz. Will try to remember to test this when I get home. Setting reminder.
  3. 144hz works find, it's just 240hz bugging out. But my other screen had 280hz and works fine. Might have to tune somthing in nvidia settings. I shall return
  4. I do you one better, I figured it out. It's my refresh rate. If I have it at 240hz, blackness, I can be on a table, inside pinballx, switch back to 60hz, and the sound and video starts, right there. Besides, I can for the life of me remember when I have ever installed a codec. Before trying to fix this issue. Vlc/mpc is all I need.
  5. The thing is, if I remove all tables, and just have one, it works. It works just fine, audio and video. But as soon as I add just one more, blackness, with text and wheel images working. S its not a codec thing.
  6. So I used database manager, all is green, it can see evrything. It's all there. Had to run, will try this evening to download evrything using databas Manger instead.
  7. I used the official codec pack, and checked all the boxes.
  8. OH, I thought scutters just used a different name for game manager. Will have to check then.
  9. tried that, renamed one of them, all files the same name. Still did not work. The frustating part is that it worked, just 2 days ago. Befor I removed the cab. I have one wiled guess, that the removing of the screen in that cab, confuses pinballx. So its showing content on a screen that is no longer connected. I did try that as well, switching around displays in settings. Codecs was never install in the first place, when it already worked, I installed them now, trying to fix things.
  10. It kept what I put into after I ran pinballx once. Videos and audio still don't work though. Only the starting music plays.
  11. what ever i enter in the username and password fields, do not stay there. They are gone as soon as I click on an other setting.
  12. Here we can se game manager fail to save user credentials.
  13. all of them. it was only when i removed the wheel image that the wheel image changed. going back in to game manger I can see the image do not stay changed, only if I remove the current wheel image, it changes.
