evening all. Iv got really nice cabinet built with all fx3 visual pinball future pinball tables and a wii remote gun on the side with all the great wii gun games and mame lightgun games working great in the backglass the lightgun games boot just like the pinball tables from pinballx front end and close the same But?.. As I'm playing on the backglass the dmd is just black screen same as the table which I dont mind as all eyes are on the backglass but I woukd like something on the dmd now I don't know how to get pinup player to pick up wii mame games to make dmd videos nor do I not know how to add pictures on the dmd why I'm playing lightgun games ? So I tbougt I could kill the pinballx dmd that's running in Windows applications but taskkill /I'm pinballx dmd don't work because its not exe running only pinballx.exe is and I can't close that ? So is there away to get pictures on dmd thats not a pinball table? Browsing pinballx front end is great iv got nice backglass and dmd videos but as you know just place them in pinballx media ect. Atleast if I can get pinballx to execute batch file before i open wii/mame game to kill the pinballx dmd it will show my Windows desk top and i could add retro ligtgun picture or something that would show ever time I open lightgun game as that batch file would excute and show it yeah? But how?

morning guys and girls. Right so iv built cab its great but I wanted to add light gun so I could play light gun games on back glass with mayflash bar with a wii remote all works fine with mame but I wanted to add dolphin and run wii games. But pinballx couldn't load the games so I made a bat file that works great in Windows double click boots right into the game no dolphin loading but soon as I get pinballx to load that bat file the dolphin emulator pops up on the backglass but game dont load ? Iv been up most of the name cant seem to figure it by my self I neeed help its not like me to run to the forums asking for help but this as got me going crazy last part of my build. So please guys help me get this working before I lose it. Thank you for your time.

SOLVED!!!! ok done it guys with autohotkey script woooot this new way of getting pinball fx3 with video backglass working with just batch files is awesome lol thx guys

how do you exit a table without pressing ESC then quit which then loads back to pinball fx3 homescreen which i dont want it to do i just want to exit the table right out ...can this be done ? i dont want to install pinup popper or anything like that trying to keep this simple as possible so a hotkey to batch file would be perfect or anyway to run batch file why playing pinball fx from press of button on front of the cabinet this is what im aiming for thank you for your time

The reason why I need a hotkey to a batch file thats got the commands to kill vlc.exe and pinball fx3.exe is because after I boot a table and when that table loads it loads straight to the table with the correct backglass video playing it does not load to the home screen pinball fx3 then pick your table I want to miss all this out.. I've done all that the tables load fine with the backglass videos missing all the home screen selection stuff but I can't exit pinball fx3 from why playing it and thats what I need so I was thinking of adding a hotkey to a batch file that kills pinball fx3 processor.. Its the hotkey bit I'm stuck in when the batch file is open and it kills vlc and pinball it goes back to desktop but in my case it will go back to my new front end il be making The hotkey let's say is E on my keyboard when I set joytokey to emulate my cabinet buttons i should be able to add E to a button and that will be my exit game button

Hi and thank you sorry for my grammar English is bad even tho I'm English lol Ok what I need is a way to bind key to open run whatever batch file that kills vlc player and pinball fx3 .exe at same time the batch file iv made works but how do I hotkey it so I can press a key on my keyboard which will be emulatored to cabinet buttons so its like exit button on the cabinet ? Do you get me.. Right click the batch file making shortcut then adding hotkeys dont work its like you cant press ctl+alt + whatever key I wanted I picked E so the shortcut hotkey would be ctl+alt+E when I want to exit pinball table but it dont work

hi guys I'm Nick and I'm new to all this pinball stuff like a week old my skills are very limited iv got pinball fx3 running with animated backglass via doflinx ect working fine..now I want to do this lol .... I'm very much a guy who likes to simplify things now having to install doflinx pinup visual pinball ect it gave me a big headache and it really needs to be done in a simplified way I mean if pinball fx allowed video files on backglass I'm sure life would be million times better for us all but hey they like us spending hours reading forums trying to figure out how to do it when with a simple bit of code video files could be used in pinball fx but nooooo. So iv came up with a simple way of running videos on the backglass with pinballs fx dmd still on the backglass overlaying the video and it boots straight to the table no main menu or navigating to the table you wanna play.. The video is on a loop the play table is as it is dot matrix is on backglasx overlaying the video it loook normal only problem is when I go to exit the table...now when I exit the table and exit the game the video on the backglass exits aswell which is good but I don't wanna go from exiting the table navigate back to start then exit i just wanna assign a key to batch file that kills vlc play and pinball fx now i have that batch file it works great but I can't assign hotkey to that batch so I then could assign that hotkey to a button on my cab so it kills vlc and pinball back to windows desktop or a program that is running in background that will have all the tables on with video animation or whatever I like so when I press the table I want it boots up batch file loads the video backglass and pinball fx table ?...sounds cool to me but I'm stuck Any help please guys on hotkey to bind to exe. well its a batch file now making a shortcut and right clicking doing it that way dont work when your in pinball fx ctl alt + f short cut hotkey dont work
