  1. wow, It is. Thank you very much Tom.
  2. Thank you very much Tom I sent it to you in pm.
  3. Hi Guys, so sorry to bother you again with this. In the Theme that I'm making (and that I can't wait to finish and share) I have personalized everything, trought Rocketlauncher I was able to set up Daphne and Singe with bezels that will reflect the cabinate artwork and also with scummvm and steam, plus some 80's movies. all of it with marquees on second monitor via Marquue Masher. When I enabled the option in theme.ini (AdvancedGFX=True) like Tom said, I was finally able to get different videos background for the start page and for the mame page (witch I called "arcade games" in my custom menu). Then I rendered some more videos for the other entries in my list, like "Laser Games" witch is just Rocketlauncher launching bat files and it works great, plus it's seen by gameex like an emulator (so I can run Marquee masher that treats it as a "system") But when I try via Theme Editor to set a video for every custom menu Item, they show up the right way in Theme editor's video option screen, making copies of the videos in the media folder with names like "Theme_Background_Laser Games" but then gameex will always load emubak.mp4. If I remove that, it goes to the bak screen from the default theme I just tried a clean install after the update but still no luck. I tried to reinstall windows media player, nothing changes. Studied every ini but couldn't see any solution. I looked at my custommenu.in but the names are correct, Could the problem be that the Items name have multiple words?like "laser games" or "modern arcades"? I have no idea. Even starting from scratch from another theme is not an option cause I'm doing something totally different and my menu Items are custom so just changing the files doesn't work. ANY IDEA will be precious to me right now, I'm really stuck and I'm breaking stuff trying to fix this. Thank you in advance for your time guys. I can't really wait to give back to this awesome community and share my work with you. But first _ gotta get it to work right, heheheh. Theme.ini GameEx.ini CustomMenu.ini
  4. IT WORKED. Thank you so much Guys, awesome support. And GameEx is the best front end ever.
  5. hi guys, first of all thank you very much for trying to help me. I tried both your suggestions but it simply didn't work. If I change the background switching the media files it just revert to default ones in the default theme. If I change the video with the option on theme editor it shows me the right ones there, but when I load the theme it only uses bak for every menu. I really don't know what I'm doing wrong: Could be custom Menu? I tried to turn that off and it still didn't work.
  6. thank ypu Tom, but I didn't find anything that uses different custom videos for lists, just pictures. You know the file named bak? I would like to add different ones for every menu entry. Can you suggest me one theme that i might overlooked?
  7. no problem, thank you for the help.
  8. thank you so much. here it is: https://www.dropbox.com/s/t6x980tu542n6vf/johnnystraw gameex.zip?dl=0
  9. Hi guys, I'm working on a custom theme for my arcade cabinate. I made different video background for each emulator but when i change it via Theme Editor, it changes for all the menus, renaming the file in the media folder as bak.mpg. I'm not talking about using game preview video files , but just videos that I made. i guess im doing something wrong since the theme editor give me the option to load a video forn any emulator. Already tried tinkerin with the ini files, but it didnt do anything I'm also using custum menu. Sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't find an answer anywhere.
  10. Thank you very much, I got it working!
  11. Of course, that’s what I meant. I have a few games under the external application part of game ex , but the marquee masher config app doesn’t list them into the “systems” scroll down menu (only emulators). Of course my default marquee is displayed, but I was wondering if it was possible to assign a different marquee for every external application game within game ex. Thank you for the quick eply.
  12. Hi, this is a great plugin and it's working perfectly on all of my systems. Is there a way to use this for "external Application" games?
  13. The overlapping is fixed too! Can't believe I passed the last week trying to find a workaround...lol!this is the fastest fix I ever got in my life, kudos for the support.
  14. Tank you for the quick response and for the good work...you rock, genius work...I'm a big fan.
  15. Hi everybody....I'm a long time reader and I always been able to fix any problem tanks to this awesome forum. I'm no newbie and Im kind of embarrassed I wasn't able to fix this myself. I built myself an arcade cabinet running Mame with Gameex with full rom set and chd, custom graphic theme etc. As another user wrote : Only one complaint, since the update to 11.13 now my ambient music plays right from the start overlapping my intro video. This is actually a big problem for me since I Made a video with voice and music, Also my jukebox plays right from the start, very annoyng. My intro movie's last frame is the front end first page so the efx was that the movie blended in to gameex smoothly... I already tried and made an exe file from my avi using rad video but it won't do because it adds the rad logo at the end screwing up the all purpose. Also avi to exe doesn't do cause the movie won't go full screen and stay open when it's finish....gamex won't start unless I manually close the window... Tank you guys so much for the good work done here, and if somebody has an idea Ill be very grateful. P.s. Sorry for my broken English...I'm Italian ....lol.
