  1. Any other thoughts on this? Is there any reason why the log would not show a reference to the game? Is there somewhere else i can see what action gameex is attempting to take?
  2. Yes this is the log file directly following the GameEx failing to launch mspacman. I noticed that there was no mention of it in the log and thought this strange. I tried it several times and the logs ended up the same. I end up having to press esc to get out of the black screen when it fails to launch and that is the "Exiting Game Ex" command in the log.
  3. 1. Mame 0.227 (Most Recent MAME) 2. The newest Roms I installed are for Mame 0.227. Updating to newest Mame release is why I updated all of my ROMs to match. The old ROM in question did work on the newest MAME and GameEX despite being the "Wrong" version. 3. I did update the list in game ex ( A significant number of new ROMs were detected because they now are all the right versions) 4. The ROM in question is Ms. Pacman. ROM name mspacman. It does show up in both "Search" and it is still in my favorites, it just won't load when started in GameEX.
  4. I am trying to trouble shoot an issue I am having. I have had my GameEx and Mame working for some time but I recently updated a significant number of ROMS. Most everything seems to work fine but I am having trouble with 1 ROM. When I launch it from Gameex, it gets stuck on a black screen and doen't ever load. The Rom runs completely fine with no errors or issues if i run it directly from MAME. It works both in the MAME GUI and the via the command prompt. The even more confusing thing from a troublshooting perspective is, I deleted the new ROM, and put back in the old Rom that used to work. It still did not work exhibiting the same faults. I have tried to change many different configuration settings in the GameEx set up as well as the MAME configuration but still no dice. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm sure there is something simple I am missing but I am about out of ideas. Including GameEX logs, GameEX.ini, and Mame.INI Any help would be very appreciated. I am log.txt GameEx.ini mame.ini
