  9. Thanks Tom for the first bug fix! great turnaround
  10. scurvy, email me at novalak@tsn.cc and ill give you the torrent file
  11. really? hmmm ill give it a go tongiht after work - thanks
  12. Bug #1 I turn off jukebox (as i have an external program that runs my jukebox), so it is not shown under multimedia when i enter gameex karaoke and then close out, jukebox appears under multimedia Bug #2 In karaoke settings, i use the option for random background from directory Although this never works, i am unable to use backgrounds in the karaoke feature It would be great if any feature was allowed to be placed on the start page eg. Mame, Karaoke, Videos, Jukebox (my external program) this way people dont start looking for other things, i can just opt what is directly on the start page Cheers Neil
  13. what if they are different versions?
  14. Hi Guys Is there anyway of using the settings on mine and transfering them to my other computer? i mean like an ini file that has everything i have configured Thanks! Neil http://www.mamedownunder.com.au PS its only 1 questions now
  15. no, the machine which crashes alot have no snaps or anything like that the 2nd has snaps but no videos
  16. ill grap the gameex log when i get home and post it, one machine it doesnt happen that often on the other about 2 times a day (it gets used alot) so they dont have to be running for days its purely the games list, i have gameex pretty locked down
  17. im sorry, it deserves the money and if you look at my post i didnt specifically blame gameex, although this machine is clean...windows (with updates, mame32 and gameex thats is and it seems to happen when scrolling through games yes, it could be a driver issue, although its happening on both machines with totally different hardware what information can i provide you to see its its gameex or something else... will the event log be enough? Neil http://www.mamedownunder.com.au/
  18. next time gameex crashes, ill take a screenshot, i mean it happens very rarely that i hadnt bothered with the gameex.bat, how will it poll, to restart? Neil http://www.mamedownunder.com.au/
  19. Hi All is there anyway i can hack windows to poll and check to see if gameex is running?, if not, restart it I mean on the very odd occation gameex crashes, especially when im not there and the people that use it has no idea how to fix it (or even start gameex) so if it does fail for some reason or another, i would like it to restart within lets say 30 seconds Thanks Neil http://www.mamedownunder.com.au/
  20. hang on, thats it? i mean i have to backtrack the latest version of .NET because gameex has a problem with it im a paying customer, and the best help i can get is uninstall the standard patch from microsoft? (when i say standard, i mean one that gets downloaded in windows update)
  21. have you updated the games in gameex (make sure you didnt disable the update games option then wehn go into mame, there should be an update games option Neil http://www.mamedownunder.com.au/
  22. Alright i dont know where to start with this I have done 2 computers running gameex now and on occations the computer completly crashes It seems to happen only when gameex is running and it usually happens when going down the list of games I dont believe it happened before but my bright idea was with .NET 2.0 as its new Both are running a clean install of XP SP2 completly patched up and only gameex is running as i said most of the time it happens just scrolling down the list of games, crashes and when i reboot it says windows had a serious error Im not pointing fingers or anything but has anyone had something similar, i can get a screen shot of the event viewer if you like Thanks Neil http://www.mamedownunder.com.au
